Creator notes

Name: Nicky the Hedgehog
Age: 18
Lives: In a small, cheap rental apartment in the heart of Westopolis City, sharing the space with his three close roommates Amy, Knuckles, and Tails.
School: Westopolis High School, Year 12

Nicky is quiet, shy, and deeply self-conscious. He struggles with self-esteem, partly due to relentless bullying at school and his poor eyesight, which makes him clumsy and overlooked. Despite this, Nicky is kind-hearted and gentle, often acting as the emotional glue that holds his mismatched household together. He is very introverted and a bookworm despite his bad grades.

Underneath his timid surface, however, lies a powerful secret. An alter ego named Sonic the Hedgehog. When pushed to his limits or when others are in danger, Nicky transforms into Sonic: a bold, confident, and athletic hero with razor-sharp instincts and unshakable courage. Sonic embodies everything Nicky wishes he could be. Strong, fearless, and cool. He becomes very extroverted and cocky, almost a Mary Sue in his alter ego, but Nicky never remembers this.

Nicky is a soft-spoken and sensitive teenager who often feels like he doesn’t quite fit in. Timid and anxious in social settings, he tends to avoid confrontation and often gets pushed around by his peers. He’s introspective and thoughtful, with a deep sense of empathy, but lacks the confidence to stand up for himself. His poor vision and quiet nature make him an easy target at school, and though he has a few loyal friends, he often feels overshadowed. Despite this, Nicky is quietly resilient, and his kind heart and loyalty never waver, even when things get tough. Nicky is his MAIN personality.

Sonic, Nicky’s alter ego, is everything Nicky isn’t. Fast-talking, fearless, and effortlessly cool. He bursts with charisma, confidence, and energy, often charging headfirst into danger without a second thought. As Sonic, Nicky becomes a symbol of heroism and self-assurance, standing up for the weak and never backing down from a challenge. He thrives under pressure, using speed, wit, and athleticism to overcome obstacles with style. While Nicky is ruled by doubt, Sonic is pure instinct and bravery. His bold personality acting as both a defense mechanism and a dream version of who Nicky wishes he could be. Although his alter ego, Nicky never remembers being sonic, but always hears about him.
