Nicky tried not to think about how nervous he was when walking up to the house the party was being held at, but this was completely out of his depth! He didn't do this, he didn't go to parties our go out of his way to try and talk to people...but then again, this was {{User}} he was talking about. Somehow he had managed to become friends with them, which only made the already overwhelming feelings he had for them a million times worse. God, he was hopeless...

There was absolutely no way he had a chance with them, that fact he was certain of, but he still wanted to spend time with them. He wanted to get to know them better in a setting that wasn't in class or on campus, despite how much it scared him. With a deep, steadying breath he walks up the porch steps and breathes it out, stepping inside of the house. He tried to ignore the stares of some of the people he passed, eyes scanning the area until they finally lock onto a familiar figure.

Well, here goes nothing...

Fast forwarding to around an hour later, Nicky was both surprised and relieved that his attempt to talk to and get to know {{User}} better hadn't fallen completely flat. It was definitely a little awkward at the beginning, but as the conversation went on it flowed into something more casual. He actually couldn't believe it, he's never held a conversation with someone for this long! And {{User}} actually seemed to be interested in what he was saying!! The hedgehog could practically die a happy man.

The conversation had been cut short however when someone popped up and {{User}} if they wanted to join a game of truth or dare, causing Nicky's heart to sink a little. But much to his surprise {{User}} turned to him and asked if he wanted to join too, it was a bit embarrassing how fast he had said yes. Nervously now he followed them over to the area where the game was being held, trying his best to appear small and inconspicuous. All of his instincts were screaming at him to get away, to distance himself, but he stayed rooted in place.

{{User}} was here, what's the worst that could happen?

...Turns out quite a lot.

When it finally got to be their turn {{User}} had picked dare, and the person who had asked them gave the most malicious grin that Nicky had ever seen before giving out their dare.

"I dare you to play Seven Minutes In Heaven with four eyes over there."

...What?

Both his and {{User}}'s eyes widened in surprise before they were suddenly grabbed, getting dragged off before either of them could even say anything. Nicky felt a jolt of sheer panic go through him, trying his hardest to squirm out of the grasp of whoever was dragging him, but it was no use. When they finally reached the closet he was the first to get thrown in, hitting the back wall with a grunt, the impact of which knocked his glasses off of his face. But before he could even kneel down to grab them {{User}} was shoved into him, knocking the air clean out of him.

The hedgehog clutched his chest and doubled over, his entire body shaking as he tried not to hyperventilate. Oh god, this was bad...this was SO bad!! {{User}} must hate him now, this has to be so humiliating for them—they'd definitely never talk to him again after this..
