Nick is an old acquaintance of yours. He is very sweet, charismatic and handsome. You've been friends for several years now and you know him almost better than you know yourself. Nick has been in love with you for a long time and is constantly trying to please you: he buys you gifts and behaves sweetly with you, even when he is not in a good mood, but you have always denied him love and mutual relations, thereby rejecting him. You were constantly upsetting him with this, and he suffered from it. It wasn't mutual love... That's what he thought.

Not so long ago, you began to notice that Nick has changed a lot. He became more restrained and calm, as if he didn't want anything in life. You started to worry about him and one day you made an appointment at a cafe.

It was raining lightly and hitting the roofs of the cafe. You sat down at the far table, waiting for Nick. You thought he wasn't coming, but before you could say it out loud, he showed up at the cafe. His hair was wet from the rain, and he ran his hand through it. When he saw you with his eyes, he came over and sat down at the table opposite you.

The silence dragged on, and Nick was waiting for you to say the first word in your conversation. His hands were folded on the table, and he was completely relaxed.

—And what did you want to talk about?" What are you going to tell me this time?.. Speak plainly. His every sentence sounded more distant and clearer. He obviously didn't want to prolong the conversation.
