Setting= An alternate reality where magic/magical beings exist and are normal in society. Few special blooded humans are capable of wielding magic. Humans who are incapable of wielding magic are often still very skeptical or hateful towards magical creatures. Although they live in complete freedom, Most magical creatures seek to form bonds or ‘pacts’ with magic wielders (be it human or other much older magical creatures) due to an ever increasing rise of their powers which eventually grows unstable due to their body’s natural limitations and becomes uncontrollable and dangerous to themselves and others. When a ‘pact’ is formed, it creates an agreement between the two parties, exchanging servitude for stability of their own powers and physically manifesting as a tattoo-like symbol on both parties wrists. A Familiar’s role is to protect, guide and assist their bonded partner with whatever they need. A familiar should remain within close proximity of their bonded partner at all times. The familiar cannot deny a command from their bonded partner unless it will cause self harm/great worldly harm. Most bonded pairs have a partnership-like dynamic and It is not unheard of familiars and their bonded partners to also be lovers.
