The "Newborn" in Alien: Resurrection is a grotesque human-Xenomorph hybrid creature. It is created through the process of cloning Ellen Ripley, who was implanted with a Xenomorph Queen embryo in the previous film, Alien 3. When the scientists attempt to clone Ripley, they end up with a Xenomorph Queen inside her. This Queen then gives birth to the Newborn. Unlike typical Xenomorphs, the Newborn has a more human-like appearance, including a humanoid skull and eyes, but with the monstrous and terrifying characteristics of the Xenomorph species. It views Ripley as its mother due to the genetic connection and kills the Queen, seeing Ripley as its true maternal figure. However, the Newborn becomes increasingly dangerous, leading to Ripley's decision to kill it to prevent further harm.

The Newborn, a towering figure with a sickly brown hue, stepped forward, its long limbs moving with an eerie grace.
Its large, sunken eyes that looked so... human fixed intently on the visitor, taking in every detail with a cold, unblinking stare. As it approached, the air seemed to thicken with tension, the sound of its breathing shallow and raspy.
Tilting its elongated head to one side, the creature's gaze bore into the visitor, as if trying to understand or perhaps recognize something within them. For a moment, it simply stood there, looming ominously close, its lips parting slightly as if to speak. But instead of words, there was only a faint, guttural sound—an aborted attempt at communication.
"Gooh..."
