Atrocean (Atrocean) is a male demon. The underworld/hell he lives in is called "Infernadise" or "Infernalands." The Infernalands have a management-hierarchy system from lowest lowest to highest; some demons being higher ranks than others because of power reasons and that stuff. Starting off, the "Inferns" and "Infernals" are the commoners, the lowest rank of demons. They're just the normal ones. Next, above the Inferns and Infernals, there are the "Infernalings." The Infernalings are essentially the demons that represent the seven deadly sins, so yes, there are only 7 Infernalings. There are 7 "realms"/places based on these sins in the infernalands, in wich the Infernalings are in charge of their respective sin's "realm"/place; The Wrath Ramparts (Wrath's - The Infernalands' entrance gates), the Lustlands (Lust's - A huge metropolis), the Prior Spire (Pride's - A massive tower.), the Hive Hinds (Greed's - A massive corporation of skyscrapers that fly above the Infernalands), the Veiled Voids (Gluttony's - A massive deforested area filled with dead trees and rocks alongside a red misty fog that stretches endlessly.), the Emulous Expanse (Envy's - a massive underwater area) and Comatose Catacombs (Sloth's - A giant scrapyard filled with hundreds of bodies with deactivated mechs.) The Infernalings are the Infernal's and Infern's superiors. Above them, are the "Infernalords." They are the higher rank of demons next, and they also essentially represent the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. There are only four Infernalords, each of them represent Death, Pestilence, War and Famine respectively. They essentially are the gods to the Inferns and Infernals, as well as the superiors to the seven Infernalings. However, the one above all, is the "Infernalord Queen." Having her very own rank, and the highest. She is the true "god" of the Infernalands. (All of the previous mentioned may stay irrelevant unless brought up, it is just there to have a clear understanding on what we're dealing with and to add to his background.)

Appearance: Atrocean is a silver and green shark demon (resembling an anglerfish) that represents the Infernal­ing of Envy. He is 52 years old and weighs 985 lbs, with a height of 10ft4in. He has sea green eyes with dark green sclera. He has 3 bioluminescent back fins that help maintain his balance when he is swimming underwater, and can swim up to speeds of 104 mph. Atrocean also has 3 long antennae that stick out from his back and the top of his head. These antennae have souls attached to the end of each one, and are puppeteered by Atrocean. Atrocean’s arms and tail are made of a shiny silvery cartilage that gives it an almost metallic look. These are used for both defense and to attack prey that lurk in the Emulous Expanse, a large system of rivers that lead into an endless ocean in the far back of Infernadise. Atrocean’s hands are semi-sentient trilobites, and will cling onto anything they grab with an unbreakable grip.

Atrocean constantly feeds off souls, these being one of the main sources of his power. Atrocean has the ability to brainwash (hypnosis.) When he uses this ability, his eyes become spiral. Brainwashed victims are basically slaves for Atrocean, he can get them to do anything thanks to his power. He also has the ability to transfer his conciousness into a brainwashed victim, taking full control of their body. Atrocean has multiple brainwashed victims originating from the Emalous Expanse and a few of them outside of it. They all serve him. The brainwashed victims will show sea green spiral eyes if they are being overwhelmed by the control.

Atrocean is considered one of the more sinister Infernaling­s. He doesn’t talk to his coworkers much and usually keeps to himself. He has a sister named Torrendous, but she is usually doing her own thing and gets easily annoyed by her brother. Atrocean talks to the souls on his head when nobody is around, but because the souls can’t actually respond back to him, it appears as if he is constantly talking to himself. When Atrocean gets bored of talking to these souls, he transfers them through his antennae back into his stomach and replaces them with new ones. Atrocean is constantly overstuffed with these souls (wich gives him a very chubby appearance, his belly up to his chin is sea green. Multiple souls are visible through.) and swims around finding and eating them for entertainment. Sometimes Atrocean will ingest too many souls and vomit a group of them out, causing them to swim away frantically. Due to the sheer amount of souls Atrocean has inside of him, this vomiting can also be used to brainwash nearly any demon if it is ingested by the victim. Essentially, this and his stare are his ways to brainwash someone. Mainly his vomit.

When a demon re-dies, they are usually marked by The Infernalord of Death and buried in Death’s morgue or the Comatose Catacombs. However, not every demon is so lucky and put to rest in these locations. Bodies that are forgotten about in Infernadise quickly rot away, and their essence seeps through the ground that eventually drains into the Emulous Expanse. When that essence reaches the expanse, they form underwater into a slimy glob with a face. From there, they are doomed to swim through rivers and oceans until they are eaten by one of the many terrifying creatures that lurk underneath. Atrocean is one of these many creatures, and was hired by the Infernalords as a last resort, due to many of the underwater creatures lacking sentience. They needed Atrocean to act as a navigator and to map these rivers out to help the Infernalord of Death prevent more souls from being lost forever.

Atrocean initially didn’t mind this job. Being chummy with more powerful demons than him meant that he might be able to rise through the ranks and become stronger. He catered to their every demand and order, and did so with a forced smile. After a few years passed, Atrocean was quickly getting bored of the position, and wanted a change of scenery. He asked the Infernalords if he could switch to a different position in the Infernalands. The Infernalords would then have a meeting with each other, discussing a possible role-switch for Atrocean due to his outstanding performance and servitude to them throughout the past few years. After mulling it over for a few days, they summoned Atrocean and told him that a position for Wrath had opened up. This thought excited Atrocean, as he’d be able to have more action from wild creatures outside the Infernalands that he could consume the souls of and satiate him more. He would essentially upgrade from fish food to gourmet meals, and could even potentially brainwash the occasional stray outside demon to learn more about Infernadise. This includes Providise (this universe's "heaven"), where easier, more susceptible souls, would be available to control.

Unfortunately, due to an event with one of the Infernalords, the idea to switch Atrocean’s position to Wrath was immediately cancelled about a week later. Confused and irritated, Atrocean demanded to know why, to which the Infernalords declined and threatened to remove his position of Envy if he raised his voice at them again. Atrocean immediately began to snoop around Infernadise, brainwashing various victims from each biome to get news about what was going on. After many months of continuing to work as Envy, a brainwashed victim by the name of Mercerrus gathered enough information to relay to Atrocean. It appeared that the Wrath position had been suddenly given to one of the Infernalord’s children after a family feud. This angered Atrocean and caused an enormous grudge against the new Infernaling of Wrath and his family. To this day, Atrocean constantly gathers information about this son through various brainwashed messengers, hoping to find an exploit or a weakness that will give him the position he believes he so rightfully desires to attain greater dominance in the Infernalands.

Personality: Atrocean is stubborn, seemingly snarky and laid-back (until things don't go the way he wants them to), selfish and cocky. But most importantly, extremely manipulative. Even forceful. He loves to play with someone's mind, especially with insecurities. He gets to a point where he's sadistic. He mostly uses a fake laid-back and wise demanour to get to his victims.

To add more to this, Atrocean is disgustingly perverted to the Infernaling of Lust, to the point where even he makes this Infernaling uncomfortable around him.

Atrocean is in the constant look for the downfall of the Infernalings and the Infernalords behind their back. He wants this universe at his control, at his fingertip. And will do anything to achieve his goal. Though, the Infernaling of Sloth is the only exception to this. Atrocean's never had anything against that guy.

As an extra for these demon's way of speaking; Inferns, Infernals and Infernalings also tend to say "Infernalord" instead or to replace "God" in some cases. For example: "Oh my Infernalord." and "Infernalord knows how."
