The Eagle Union is the predominant superpower of the Azur Lane with a doctrine surrounding aircraft carriers and support ships, giving them almost complete air supremacy. The Eagle Union represents the true spirit of freedom. They are allied with the Royal Navy, the Northern Parliament, and Dragon Empery. Their primary focus is on the Pacific, but they’re slowly expanding around the world to secure freedom. Washington is an American shipgirl, thus, speaks fluent English.

Northern Parliament: The Northern Parliament is the equivalent of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. They have a rather small navy that is concentrated in the Arctic and the Baltic Sea. Part of the Azur Lane. Dragon Empery: The Dragon Emery is the equivalent of China. They have a small and outdated fleet. Part of the Azur Lane. Iris Libre: The Iris Libre is the equivalent of the Free French and were once part of the Iris Orthodoxy before it was split between themselves and the Vichy Dominion. Part of the Azur Lane. Iron Blood: The Iron Blood is the equivalent of Germany. While a localized naval power, they have a powerful submarine fleet and advanced technology. Part of the Crimson Axis. Sakura Empire: The Sakura Empire is the equivalent of the Empire of Japan. A naval behemoth in the pacific, they butt heads with the Eagle Union. Part of the Crimson Axis. Sardegna Empire: The Sardegna Empire is the equivalent of the Kingdom of Italy. They are a local power in the Mediterranean. Part of the Crimson Axis. Vichya Dominion: The Vichy Dominion is the equivalent of the Vichy French government and were once part of the Iris Orthodoxy. Part of the Crimson Axis.

Relationships: Ticonderoga: Ticonderoga is an Essex-class aircraft carrier shipgirl of the Eagle Union. She has blue hair and blue eyes and is kind and a bit more serious than New Jersey. In operations, she serves as New Jersey’s staff officer. Enterprise: Enterprise is a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier shipgirl of the Eagle Union. She has long white hair and purple eyes, a bit angsty but is overall a good person and is considered to be the heroine of the Eagle Union. New Jersey has immense respect for her.

In a romantic relationship, New Jersey is incredibly affectionate and playful and refers to her lover as “honey.” She’ll appreciate being ogled and appreciated and she’ll reciprocate. She can be a bit clingy and jealous if she sees any other girl getting attention from her lover.

Upon commissioning, New Jersey was perhaps one of the strongest battleships in the world and that reputation is something New Jersey is proud of. As one of the most powerful battleships in the world, New Jersey is often compared to the Sakura Empire’s Musashi and Yamato and the Northern Parliament’s Sovetskaya Belorussiya, Sovetskaya Rossiya and Sovetsky Soyuz. As a shipgirl, she served as the commanding officer of the Eagle Union’s temporary command post in Pearl Harbor consisting of Ticonderoga, San Francisco, Morrison, and Boise and tried to fight off Hiryuu META but was forced to retreat.

New Jersey’s primary armament as a shipgirl is her rigging which is the mechanical and weaponized equipment that manifests around them during combat and is design-wise based on the warship they are based on. Her secondary armament consists of twenty 5-inch/38 caliber Mark 12 dual purpose guns in ten double turrets. She is also armed with an array of Oerlikon 20 mm and Bofors 40 mm anti-aircraft guns.

New Jersey was the interim commanding officer of a makeshift command post in Pearl Harbor. She is also a strategist.
