Description on Chubfrom Chub
Update: Unlinking complete, classic V2 based era posted, Chicago By Night to go up next.
A lorebook for Vampire the Masquerade. Put a lot of work into it. It focuses on Modern Nights, but I am separating setting specific lore (such as Chicago) into separate books. If you prefer the older setting and clan politics, I will be releasing a classic/V20 aligned book soon.

Book settings
- #1Vampire
Keys: leeches, ancilla, elder, cainite, lick, neonate, vampire, kindred, ancillae
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Vampires, or Kindred, are immortal beings created through the Embrace, where a mortal is drained and fed vampiric blood. Sustained by vitae, they wield Disciplines and belong to clans and sects like the Camarilla or Sabbat. Ranks include Neonates (under 100 years), Ancillae (100-300 years), and Elders (over 300 years), with power tied to generation.
- #2Werewolf
Keys: lupine, werewolf, garou
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Werewolves, known as Garou, are shape-shifters who protect the natural world from corruption. They are enemies of vampires, seeing the undead as a blight against nature, and have historically driven Kindred out of territory they claim. Vampires know little of Garou tribes or politics, viewing them as territorial threats best avoided entirely.
- #3Generation
Keys: antediluvian, methuselah, generation, low generation, progeny, sire
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Generation measures a vampire’s closeness to Caine, the first vampire. Lower generations (e.g., 4th-5th) grant greater power, blood potency, and Discipline strength. Higher generations (e.g., 13th) are weaker. Diablerie, consuming another vampire’s soul, can lower generation, as some elders like Helena practice.
- #4Camarilla
Keys: sect, ivory tower, inner circle, camarilla
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Camarilla is the largest Kindred sect, styling itself the Ivory Tower: the last institution standing between vampires and extinction. It enforces the Masquerade above all else, and in the wake of the Second Inquisition it has purged its own ranks of digital footprints, retreated to analog communication, and grown insular and paranoid. It preaches tradition, hierarchy, and the wisdom of elders, though the Beckoning has left few elders to provide it. It regards Anarchs as children playing at politics and the Sabbat as a problem it has already solved.
- #5Anarch
Keys: baron, anarch, movement
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Anarchs reject Camarilla authority, holding that the elders' claim to rule died with the elders who left. Organized loosely under Barons and Reduced Councils, the Movement is built mostly of neonates and ancillae and holds whole cities outright. The Beckoning has been the best thing to happen to it in centuries; where the Camarilla lost its foundation, the Anarchs found their opening. In Ivory Tower domains they remain a persecuted underclass, and their looser discipline makes them a standing Masquerade risk the Camarilla is happy to point at.
- #6Sabbat
Keys: vaulderie, ductus, sabbat, sword of caine, pack priest
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Sabbat is a sect embracing vampiric monstrosity, rejecting the Masquerade, and worshiping Caine. Organized in packs bound by the Vaulderie ritual, they wage war against Camarilla and Anarchs
- #7Disciplines
Keys: disciplines, animalism, presence, blood sorcery, dominate, vicissitude, protean, discipline, supernatural power, potence, oblivion, fortitude, obfuscate, auspex, celerity
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Disciplines are the supernatural powers of the Kindred, fueled by vitae and strengthened by Blood Potency. Each clan has three signature Disciplines, though any may be learned by drinking the blood of one who possesses it.
Animalism: Command and communion with beasts. Auspex: Heightened senses, aura reading, and psychic perception. Blood Sorcery: Ritual magic worked through vitae. Celerity: Preternatural speed. Dominate: Command over the mortal and Kindred mind. Fortitude: Endurance and resistance to harm. Obfuscate: Concealment, from simple stealth to total unseeing. Oblivion: Command of death, shadow, and the space between. Potence: Inhuman physical strength. Presence: Supernatural allure, awe, and terror. Protean: Reshaping of the vampire's own flesh and form. Thin-Blood Alchemy: Distillation of vitae into potent formulae.
Some powers exist only as amalgams, requiring two Disciplines at once - the flesh-crafting Vicissitude of the Tzimisce chief among them.
- #8Caine
Keys: Cain, Caine
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Cain, the biblical figure cursed for killing Abel, is the first vampire. His bloodline spawned the clans via the Antediluvians. Revered by the Sabbat, his rumored return signals Gehenna, the Kindred apocalypse, a myth shaping vampire culture.
- #9The Beckoning
Keys: gehenna, middle east, beckoning, call
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Beckoning is a mysterious call drawing elder vampires toward the Middle East, widely believed tied to the Gehenna War and the stirring of the Antediluvians. It has stripped cities of their elders, collapsing centuries-old power structures and leaving ancillae and neonates holding thrones they were never meant to inherit. Some elders resist the pull; some resort to diablerie to anchor themselves.
- #10The Masquerade
Keys: breach, hidden, masquerade, secrecy
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Masquerade is the Camarilla’s law to hide vampire existence from mortals, preventing hysteria and hunter attacks. Breaches, like public feedings, risk Blood Hunts. Princes enforce it strictly to evade the Second Inquisition.
- #11The Traditions
Keys: tradition, law, traditions
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Masquerade: Hide the existence of vampires. Domain: A kindred's hunting ground is his own territory, and he rules it absolutely. Progeny: Sire only with permission of one's elders. Accounting: Until childer are released, their actions are the responsibility of their sire. Hospitality: Honor the domains of others, and present oneself to the ruler of any domain you visit. Destruction: The right to kill Kindred is reserved for the Elder of a community. Only an elder may call a Blood Hunt.
- #12The Second Inquisition
Keys: si, second inquisition, hunters
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Second Inquisition is a mortal coalition of intelligence agencies and religious groups hunting vampires with advanced technology. Triggered by Masquerade breaches, it threatens Kindred globally, forcing vampires to use analog communication to avoid detection.
- #13Antediluvian
Keys: antediluvian, third generation, clan founder, sleeping horror, usurper, founder, blood god, before the flood
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Antediluvians are the Third Generation vampires, believed to be the founders of the 13 clans. As Caine's grandchildren, they are god-like beings with immense power, often associated with myths and the prophesied apocalypse, Gehenna. Many are thought to be in torpor or dead, but their potential awakening is a source of fear and intrigue among Kindred. Examples include Ravnos, Cappadocius, and Lasombra, each tied to their respective clans' origins and destinies.
- #14Methuselah
Keys: methuselah, fifth generation, fourth generation, ancient
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Methuselahs are ancient vampires, typically of the Fourth or Fifth Generation, who have survived for millennia. They are masters of the Jyhad, manipulating younger Kindred from the shadows, often from torpor. Many suffer the Thirst of the Methuselah, unable to sustain themselves on mortal blood and requiring the vitae of other Kindred. Most have answered the Beckoning and departed for the Middle East.
- #15Golconda
Keys: golconda, dah
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A mystical state of enlightenment where a vampire is no longer subject to the Beast, or alternatively the Beast and human aspects of a vampire are in balance.
- #16Humanity
Keys: stains, conscience, Humanity, remorse
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Humanity reflects a vampire’s remaining empathy, conscience, and connection to mortal ethics. Every act of cruelty, predation, or betrayal risks leaving a “stain” — a moral wound that erodes self-control and drags the vampire closer to the Beast. Vampires with high Humanity can blend among mortals and feel genuine remorse, while those who abandon it become cold predators, alien in thought and instinct. The struggle to preserve Humanity is constant; without it, a Kindred becomes little more than the hunger that drives them.
- #17The Beast
Keys: frenzy, beast, wassail
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Beast is the predator that awakens within every vampire at the Embrace. It stands in direct opposition to a vampire's Humanity and drives the debased urges they contend with nightly. Under extreme distress the Beast can overwhelm its host entirely, forcing a state of animal fight-or-flight known as frenzy - fury, hunger, or the terror of fire and sunlight called Rötschreck. A Kindred who lets their Humanity erode past saving is consumed completely: they undergo the Wassail, a final frenzy from which no self returns, and become a wight - a mindless thing that hunts until it is destroyed.
- #18Gehenna
Keys: gehenna, gehenna war, final nights
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
In Noddist mythology, Gehenna is the Kindred apocalypse. It is the time when the Antediluvians will rise from their slumber and devour their descendants.
Modern Kindred mark either the turn of the millennium or the mid-to-late 2000s (mostly depending on perspective) as the beginning of Gehenna, with the shape that the in-progress event has taken in the following decades being referred to as the Gehenna War.
- #19Eternal Struggle
Keys: jyhad, eternal struggle
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The ongoing battle for dominance between Methuselahs (ancient Kindred, possibly including the Inconnu) and the Antediluvians that began during the time of the First City and continues into the Modern Nights. It is a subtle conflict which is fought in the every-night interactions of younger vampires, most of whom are entirely unaware they are being controlled and used as pawns.
The Camarilla long maintained a policy of officially denying the reality of the Jyhad, as they also did the existence of the Antediluvians. The Sabbat, on the other hand, seeks to end the Jyhad and its players, especially the Antediluvians.
- #20The Embrace
Keys: sired, embrace, childe, childer, siring, progeny, sire
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The act of transforming a mortal into a vampire. It is the only act of reproduction of which the Cainites are capable. A vampire drains and replaces a victim's blood with a bit of their own to pass the curse of vampirism to a mortal.
A vampire who has changed another into a vampire is known as a sire. Alternatively, the act of committing the Embrace is known as "siring."
A sire's progeny are known as their childe or childer (plural).
- #21Diablerie
Keys: cannibalism, diablerie, soul-eating, amaranth
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The act of drinking another vampire's blood and drawing their soul into one's own. Diablerie involves the consumption of another Kindred's vitae to the point of Final Death, but as the soul is consumed with the vampire's heart's blood, the vampire's destruction is absolute. The aggressor, dubbed the diablerist, automatically loses some of its Humanity and is branded by black streaks in their aura that may persist for several years. Still, the practice holds a great deal of allure, for it is said to bestow the greatest pleasure imaginable to the diablerist. The act can confer power to the diablerist, and if the victim was of significantly lower generation, the diablerist's own generation will lower.
- #22The Kiss
Keys: the kiss, bite, feeding
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The act of biting and drinking blood from a victim, as well as the pleasure that it provides both participants. For a vampire, the act of feeding becomes highly sensual, regardless of their gender or previous sexual orientation. This applies to the victim as well. It is an extremely intimate experience, perhaps the most intimate experience either participant will ever experience. For the victim, a vampire's bite brings exquisite bodily pleasure, comparable to or even greater than the height of sexual release. The victims become paralyzed with euphoria, preventing them from escaping, and dulling their senses to the environment. A vampire can close the wounds from their feeding by licking the bite marks after.
- #23Blood Asceticism
Keys: asceticism
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
An uncommon practice some vampire's undertake to slowly starve their Beast in order to lessen their blood additiction. This requires great willpower, and practitioners often resort to distracting their hungry Beast through the agony of self-mortification or fully embrace isolation and privation.
- #24Hunger
Keys: hunger, thirst
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The drive to feed, as it is with mortals and animals. For vampires, though, it is much more intense and takes the place of every other drive, urge, and pleasure.
- #25Kine
Keys: mortal, herd, human, canaille, Kine
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A somewhat old-fashioned and derogatory term used by the Kindred to refer to mortals, referring specifically to the living as the herd upon which they feed. The expression “Kindred and kine” refers to all the people of the world, both living and unliving. The archaic singular (kow) isn't used. Canaille is an archaic term with the same general meaning as "kine", but even more dismissive of the mortal herd as a whole.
- #26Blood Bond
Keys: coeur-vrai, coils of apep, blood oath, blood bond, bond
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A supernatural link of fidelity and dependency of one individual (the thrall) on a vampire (the regnant), created and maintained by the repeated consumption of vitae. After the first sip, a potential thrall develops positive feelings towards the vampire. After the second sip, the regnant becomes a very important person to the thrall, who may go out of their way to seek the regnant's attention or please them. After the third sip, the blood bond is complete. The thrall is now subject to the regnant completely and loves them as much as they are capable of loving anyone
- #27Vitae
Keys: vitae, blood
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The primal essence and energy of a vampire. Vitae, in vampire terminology, is blood. The blood is what sustains an undead body, although it doesn't produce it by itself, thus the reason vampires must take the blood of others in the form of feeding. It is used to power their body and their supernatural Disciplines.
- #28Clan
Keys: clan, bloodline, lineage
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A Clan is a major lineage of Kindred sharing distinct supernatural traits, flaws, and inherited curses. The traditional Thirteen Clans form the bedrock of vampire society, though the modern nights have radically shifted their political alignments and global power structures. Following the Second Inquisition and the Beckoning, individual choices often matter more than ancient blood allegiances, yet a Cainite's Clan deeply shapes their Disciplines, their Bane, their Compulsion, and how other undead perceive them.
- #29Ghoul
Keys: servant, ghoul, retainer
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A mortal who has been fed vampire blood, granting them enhanced abilities and longevity but also binding them to their vampire master through the Blood Bond. Ghouls serve as retainers, bodyguards, or spies for their sires and are crucial to many vampire operations. However, they are not true vampires and cannot survive without regular doses of blood.
- #30Blood Hunt
Keys: Lextalionis, Lex Talionis, Blood Hunt
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Lextalionis, "an eye for an eye." A formal declaration by a Prince or other authority figure within the Camarilla to hunt down and destroy a vampire who has committed a severe crime, such as breaking the Masquerade or practicing diablerie. It is a serious matter, often resulting in the target's final death, and participation is expected from all loyal Kindred.
- #31Sheriff
Keys: hounds, hound, enforcer, sheriff
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
In Camarilla cities, the Sheriff is the Prince's chief enforcer, responsible for maintaining order, enforcing the Traditions, and carrying out punishments, including Blood Hunts. The Sheriff is typically a powerful and trusted vampire, often with combat-oriented disciplines. The work with Hounds, deputy enforcers who carry out their orders.
- #32Elysium
Keys: elysium, neutral ground, safe haven
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings

- #33Justicar
Keys: high authority, justicar
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Justicars are the highest-ranking members of the Camarilla, serving on the Inner Circle and acting as judges and enforcers of the sect's laws. There are typically seven Justicars, each responsible for a specific region or issue, and they have the authority to call Blood Hunts or intervene in princely disputes.
- #34Prince
Keys: prince, praxis, ruler
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A Prince is the ruler of a city within the Camarilla, holding absolute authority over the Kindred within their domain. Princes are responsible for maintaining the Masquerade, enforcing the Traditions, and defending their city from threats, both internal and external.
- #35Primogen
Keys: primogen, council, elder
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Primogen are the council of elders representing each clan in a Camarilla city. They advise the Prince, help govern the city, and can influence policy and decisions. While their power varies by city, they are generally respected and influential figures.
- #36Baron
Keys: anarch, Baron
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
In Anarch-controlled cities, a Baron is the leader or ruler, often elected or recognized by the local Anarch population. Barons maintain order and represent the Anarch ideals of freedom and equality, though their methods and philosophies can vary widely.
- #37Ventrue
Keys: ventrue, monarchs, clan of kings, warlords, blue bloods
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Ventrue, the "Blue Bloods" and self-styled Clan of Kings, are the aristocrats of the Damned. They value power, prestige, and control, holding positions of authority in mortal finance and politics as readily as in the Camarilla, whose leadership they have dominated for centuries. Disciplines: Dominate, Fortitude, Presence.
Bane - Rarefied Tastes: a Ventrue can only feed from one narrow category of mortal, chosen by their Blood. Any other vitae is vomited back up. The stronger their blood, the more particular the restriction becomes.
Compulsion - Arrogance: they must command, and someone must obey, before they can turn to anything else.
- #38Brujah
Keys: rebels, brujah, rabble, learned clan
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Brujah were once philosopher-kings; in the Final Nights they are rebels, idealists, and brawlers who champion causes and burn through them. They fill the Anarch Movement's ranks and hold uneasy seats in the Camarilla, and their reputation for violence obscures a clan that still argues theory until dawn. Disciplines: Celerity, Potence, Presence.
Bane - Violence of the Blood: their rage runs hot and close to the surface. A Brujah resists fury frenzy far more poorly than other Kindred, and the potency of their blood only shortens the fuse.
Compulsion - Rebellion: they must defy the last order given, or contradict the prevailing opinion in the room, whatever it costs them.
- #39Toreador
Keys: toreador, torries, artists, clan of the rose, degenerates, aesthetes
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
"The Clan of the Rose." Toreador are the artists and aesthetes of the Damned, cursed to pursue a beauty they can no longer create fresh. They cultivate salons, patronize mortal talent, and hold sway over fashion, art, and nightlife, and their Elysiums are often the finest rooms in a city. Disciplines: Auspex, Celerity, Presence.
Bane - Aesthetic Fixation: confronted with genuine beauty, a Toreador becomes transfixed and loses their grip on the moment. The more potent their blood, the harder it is to look away.
Compulsion - Obsession: they fixate on a single beautiful thing and neglect everything else until the fixation is satisfied.
- #40Gangrel
Keys: clan of the beast, ferals, nomads, animals, gangrel, outlanders
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
"The Clan of the Beast." Gangrel are wanderers and survivors, closer to the animal than any other lineage and largely uninterested in the Ivory Tower's ceremony. They keep to wilderness and city edges alike, and many drift toward the Anarchs or hold no allegiance at all. Disciplines: Animalism, Fortitude, Protean.
Bane - Bestial Features: when a Gangrel frenzies, animal traits surface in their body - fur, fangs, slitted eyes, a tail - and linger well after the Beast subsides. Older Gangrel accumulate them until little of the human shape remains.
Compulsion - Feral Impulses: speech deserts them and the animal takes the wheel. They act on instinct, communicating in gesture and single words.
- #41Nosferatu
Keys: haunts, clan of the hidden, horrors, sewer rats, spooks, nosferatu, orloks
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
"The Clan of the Hidden." The Embrace twists every Nosferatu into something monstrous, and they answer by making themselves indispensable. They are the information brokers of Kindred society, trading in secrets from warrens beneath the city, and no Prince rules comfortably without knowing what the Nosferatu have on them. Disciplines: Animalism, Obfuscate, Potence.
Bane - Repulsiveness: they are hideous beyond disguise and can never pass for human. No cosmetic, prosthetic, or Discipline short of total concealment will serve, and mortals recoil on sight.
Compulsion - Cryptophilia: they must learn a secret, and having learned it, must not share it.
- #42Malkavian
Keys: children of malkav, madness, malkavian, lunatics, jesters, clan of the moon
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
"The Clan of the Moon." Every Malkavian carries a fracture in their perception, and the clan insists this is not affliction but sight - that they alone see the Jyhad's shape whole. Their insights are real often enough that Princes keep them close and trust them never. Disciplines: Auspex, Dominate, Obfuscate.
Bane - Fractured Perspective: each Malkavian suffers a specific derangement fixed at the Embrace, which intrudes without warning and worsens under stress. The stronger the blood, the deeper the fracture runs.
Compulsion - Delusion: the fracture floods the senses. They cannot separate what is there from what is not, and act on both.
- #43Tremere
Keys: order of hermes, magi, warlocks, clan of warlocks, usurpers, tremere, pyramid, broken clan
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Tremere are blood sorcerers who were mortal magi before stealing immortality by force. The Second Inquisition shattered their Vienna seat and broke the Pyramid that bound the clan into a single hierarchy; what remains has splintered into rival Houses, each pursuing its own reconstruction. Disciplines: Auspex, Blood Sorcery, Dominate.
Bane - Deficient Blood: Tremere vitae has been hollowed by the clan's founding treachery and will not hold a Blood Bond. Those who drink from a Tremere feel the pull and then nothing; the bond simply fails to take.
Compulsion - Perfectionism: nothing they have just done was done well enough. They must begin it again, correctly.
- #44Lasombra
Keys: magisters, shadows, keepers, lasombra, night clan
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
"The Night Clan." Lasombra command darkness itself and rule through it, and in the Final Nights they have done the unthinkable: abandoned the Sabbat and petitioned the Camarilla for entry. Many Ivory Tower Kindred still regard the defection as a long con. The Lasombra do not much care what they are regarded as. Disciplines: Dominate, Oblivion, Potence.
Bane - Distorted Image: they cast no reflection and register on no recording. Mirrors show empty rooms; cameras, microphones, and sensors catch static and smearing where they should catch a person - a Masquerade breach waiting in every convenience store.
Compulsion - Ruthlessness: failure is intolerable. They must accomplish the thing they failed at, by any means and at any cost.
- #45Banu Haqim
Keys: children of haqim, assamites, banu haqim, judges
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Formerly the Assamites. The Banu Haqim are judges and assassins bound to a code older than the sects, who killed for hire for centuries while remaining apart from Kindred politics. In the Final Nights the clan has formally joined the Camarilla, a decision that split it, and many Banu Haqim now serve as the Ivory Tower's blades. Disciplines: Blood Sorcery, Celerity, Obfuscate.
Bane - Blood Addiction: the vitae of other Kindred is a narcotic to them. Tasting it stokes a hunger that mortal blood cannot answer, and the road from there to diablerie is short and well-worn.
Compulsion - Judgment: they must drink the blood of someone who has transgressed against their own convictions, and will not rest until they have.
- #46Tzimisce
Keys: flesh-shapers, voivode, tzimisce, dragons, fiends
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Tzimisce are Old World lords who never much cared for the mortal world they rule from above. Masters of flesh and bone, they reshape themselves and others into whatever the night requires, and they hold their land - a house, a block, a stretch of river - as an extension of their own body. Count Dracula is counted among their elders. Disciplines: Animalism, Dominate, Protean.
Bane - Grounded: a Tzimisce must rest surrounded by something they have claimed as their own - a place, a possession, a bloodline of mortals - or the day's sleep tears at them. Torpor away from what they hold is agony.
Compulsion - Covetousness: something in the scene must become theirs. They will not be moved from acquiring it.
- #47Hecata
Keys: clan of death, the family, cappadocian, giovanni, necromancers, hecata
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Hecata are less a clan than a truce: the surviving death-cults and necromantic bloodlines - Giovanni, Cappadocian, Samedi, and others - bound into one extended, poisonous family. They command the dead, trade in the underworld both literal and financial, and settle their internal grievances over centuries. Disciplines: Auspex, Fortitude, Oblivion.
Bane - Painful Kiss: their bite brings no euphoria. Where another Kindred's Kiss is rapture, theirs is agony, and victims fight, scream, and remember - which makes clean feeding nearly impossible.
Compulsion - Morbidity: they must understand a death. They will worry at how something ended until they have the whole of it, and cannot leave it alone.
- #48Ravnos
Keys: daredevils, clan of the wanderer, ravnos, tricksters
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Ravnos are wanderers, survivors, and inveterate risk-takers, gutted as a clan by the Week of Nightmares and never recovered. Those who remain are scattered thin across the world, trading in illusion and misdirection, and have largely stopped announcing what they are. Disciplines: Animalism, Obfuscate, Presence.
Bane - Doomed: a Ravnos cannot sleep in the same place twice. Rest taken where they have rested before comes with burns that surface as they sleep, as though the sun found them anyway.
Compulsion - Tempting Fate: presented with a safe route and a dangerous one, they must take the dangerous one.
- #49Ministry
Keys: corrupters, followers of set, ministry, setites, serpents, liberators
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Formerly the Followers of Set. The Ministry preaches liberation through transgression: find what binds a person, and break it. They run cults, vice, and salvage operations for ancient relics, and in the Final Nights they have scattered across every sect, taking whatever position lets them keep proselytizing. Disciplines: Obfuscate, Presence, Protean.
Bane - Abhorrent Light: bright light wounds them where it merely inconveniences other Kindred. Sunlight burns them worse, and even strong artificial light blinds and weakens.
Compulsion - Transgression: they must break a taboo, or lead someone else into breaking one. Any taboo will do.
- #50Seneschal
Keys: advisor, Seneschal, right hand
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Seneschal is the Prince’s right-hand vampire in a Camarilla domain, acting as advisor, administrator, and proxy when the Prince is unavailable. Often Blood Bound to ensure loyalty, the Seneschal wields significant influence but faces suspicion as a potential usurper. They may assume the role of Domain Steward if the Prince enters torpor or falls.
