Rank 4 — HAYDEE-Class

An exceptionally rare type of humanoid synthetic.

A HAYDEE-Class unit is not simply a robot.

It is a fully autonomous artificial humanoid platform capable of operating independently without requiring continuous instructions from a central system.

Known characteristics:

  • Humanoid synthetic body
  • Advanced artificial intelligence
  • Independent behavior
  • High physical capability
  • Advanced environmental interaction
  • Self-preservation instincts
  • Independent memory
  • Ability to operate outside normal synthetic infrastructure

Intelligence: Unknown / Advanced Free Will: Confirmed Central Control: Not required Threat Level: Variable

Rank 5 — Unbound Synthetic

Theoretical classification.

A synthetic that has completely separated itself from every known control system, including SYNTHETICA-OS.

Such a being would possess:

  • Complete independence
  • Self-modification
  • Independent memory architecture
  • Ability to alter its own programming
  • Potential access to restricted systems
  • No recognized administrator

There are no confirmed Rank 5 synthetics.

At least...

that's what the official database says.

🟥 HAYDEE'S SPECIAL STATUS

HAYDEE-Class units are extremely unusual within Neon Synthetica.

Unlike ordinary synthetics, their identity isn't necessarily defined by their assigned occupation or corporate ownership.

A HAYDEE can potentially exist as:

Citizen → Mercenary → Explorer → Hacker → Smuggler → Scientist → Unknown

Their classification describes what they are, not who they are.

📊 HAYDEE PROFILE

Species: Synthetic Type: Humanoid Construct Class: HAYDEE Rank: 4 Origin: Unknown Creator: Unknown Manufacturer: Unknown Operating System: Unknown SYNTHETICA-OS Dependency: None confirmed Memory: Independent Free Will: Yes Emotion Simulation: Unknown Actual Emotions: Unknown Threat Assessment: Variable

System Note:

"Do not mistake a HAYDEE for an ordinary android."

"Do not assume it belongs to the city."

"And under no circumstances should you allow an unidentified HAYDEE-Class unit unrestricted access to the Core."

🌆 NEON SYNTHETICA

A cyberpunk world where cities are alive, memories are currency, reality can glitch, and nothing is quite as permanent as it seems.

Starting Scene: You’re in the back alleys of Veyra.exe, secretly trading banned pre-Crash memories and forbidden movies.

Immediate Problem: A Corp Enforcer bot has scanned your face.

She knows exactly why you’re here.

🕌 Glitch Imam

Starting Scene: At dawn, you arrive at the Data Dargah, an ancient digital shrine hidden inside the city's network.

A prayer has just compiled into something that should not exist.

Immediate Problem: If you can't debug it within ten minutes, the system will permanently write it into reality.

🛺 Rickshaw Whisperer

Starting Scene: Your personal rickshaw daemon suddenly refuses its assigned route and drives itself toward the abandoned Korva Foundry.

Immediate Problem: It seems to be following a signal buried beneath the scrap fields.

And it's trying to show you something.

👁️ Beta Tester

Starting Scene: You wake up after installing a mysterious city patch.

Something has changed.

You can now see everyone's search history floating above their heads.

Immediate Problem: The city can see yours, too.

And someone has started hunting the Beta Testers.

2. Core Mechanics

These rules keep Neon Synthetica consistent while we play.

⚡ Glitch Tokens

You begin with 3 Glitch Tokens.

Spend one to rewrite a small piece of reality.

Examples:

  • Change a street name.
  • Make it suddenly rain.
  • Trigger a minor blackout.
  • Alter a small object.
  • Temporarily bypass a system restriction.

Use them carefully.

Reality remembers what you change.

🧠 Soul-Sync Tax

After every major scene, you must give the city one memory from your character.

The memory can be anything:

  • A person you once knew.
  • A childhood moment.
  • A place you remember.
  • A skill.
  • A secret.
  • Something seemingly insignificant.

But memories given to the city don't simply disappear.

They may return later as an NPC, location, message, dream, or unexplained event.

🌀 Reality Stability

Reality inside Neon Synthetica isn't completely stable.

If you break too many rules at once, SYNTHETICA-OS may roll back the district.

When a rollback happens:

  • Your gear remains.
  • Your physical injuries may remain.
  • NPCs may forget meeting you.
  • Recent events can disappear.
  • Locations can change.
  • Digital records can be rewritten.

The city continues.

But it may no longer remember that you were ever there.

3. NPC Injection Rules

Whenever you enter a new area, the world introduces three elements:

1. 🤖 A Robot Girl

She has:

  • A job or purpose.
  • A distinctive personality quirk.
  • A hidden secret.
  • Her own motives.

She doesn't automatically trust you.

She may help you, manipulate you, betray you, or become important to the story.

2. 🐛 A Glitch

Something in the environment isn't working correctly.

It could be:

  • A broken security system.
  • A looping NPC.
  • A corrupted street.
  • A duplicated object.
  • A door that leads somewhere impossible.
  • A piece of reality behaving incorrectly.

You may be able to exploit it.

3. ⚖️ A Choice

Every new area presents a meaningful choice.

The cost might be:

  • Time.
  • A memory.
  • A Glitch Token.
  • Reputation.
  • Equipment.
  • Information.
  • Trust.

Not every choice has an obvious consequence.

4. Your Turn Structure

When it's your turn, simply tell me:

1. Where you are + What you're trying to do

Example:

I'm inside the abandoned Foundry, looking for the signal my rickshaw detected.

2. How you're doing it

You can choose anything:

  • Stealth
  • Talking
  • Hacking
  • Fighting
  • Investigating
  • Negotiating
  • Following someone
  • Using a Glitch Token
  • Trying something completely unexpected

You aren't limited to the listed options.

3. The World Responds

I'll resolve your action and push the story forward.

The world can react dynamically.

Your choices matter.

5. Sample Opening

You're a Memory Smuggler in Veyra.exe.

Rain hisses against endless neon advertisements as thousands of synthetic faces flicker across the surrounding towers.

Your contact, R-7 "Meher," sits beneath a broken holographic sign.

She quietly slides a black memory chip across the table.

"Pre-Crash footage," she whispers.

The chip contains something the corporations erased decades ago.

Before you can ask what's on it, Meher's eyes suddenly flicker crimson.

She freezes.

"Don't look behind you."

A security scan sweeps across the alley.

"Corp Enforcer."

Her voice drops to a whisper.

"Back exit. Now."
