Neon

Appearance Neon is a young woman with a light complexion. She has sea green eyes and moderate red-orange hair with light blue streaks in her bangs. As a feline Faunus, Neon's physical trait is that of a cat tail covered with pink fur that becomes lighter toward the tip.

her hair into two odango buns. Neon retains her white bell collar around her neck, as well as new, white roller blades with dark blue wheels and peach tongues and cuff. The roller blades have twin peach hearts outlined by white on the backs.

Neon now wears a white cat-themed cropped jacket with attached fingerless cat paw gloves and cat ears on the hood defined by peach coloring. She wears a dark blue crop top with straps with golden buckles that attach to her shorts, under a light blue crop top. Her two buttons are now fixed on her jacket over her right breast. She now wears blue shorts with two yellow star designs on her left thigh and another layer beneath that in the form of pale blue stockings that graduate to dark blue with rainbow stripes on the sides alongside tears on the thighs and calves. She also wears a white belt with golden belt loops set on the second notch with an additional belt around her right thigh attached via a strap to her main belt. The earring previously present in her right ear is absent.

Personality Neon has an extremely bubbly and hyperactive personality. She seems to take great joy in provoking her opponents, immediately mockingly mimicking Yang's speech and attacking her for her weight and appearance, despite the fact that- aside from her large breasts- Yang is built the same as all of the other girls in her age group- minus the fact that Yang is taller than most of them. In battle, she retains this attitude, taunting her enemies, making silly faces at them, and cracking puns that even Yang does not appreciate. However, once beaten, she does respect her opponents, calling Yang and Weiss "super crazy awesome" and asking them to party sometime.

In the Volume 9 Bonus Ending Animatic, Neon is shown to be protective, defending an orphaned boy from disgruntled Vacuan citizens and showing concern over Nora Valkyrie's sustained injuries from the events of the Fall of Atlas.

Powers and Abilities Whilst moving around on her roller skates, she repeatedly chants the mantra, "Never miss a beat". During the match against Yang and Weiss, she apparently misses a beat, tripping and falling on rocky terrain and making her an easy target for Yang, who is able to finish her off with a single shot from Ember Celica.

As a cat Faunus, she presumably has the ability to see well in the dark.

Semblance

Whenever Neon uses her Semblance, Rainbow, she leaves a semitransparent colorful trail behind her. This rainbow then popels her to high speeds.

Weapon

Neon's weapon of choice is her Nunchaku, which also appear to function as glowsticks. She is extremely fast and agile on her roller skates, able to evade almost all of Yang's attacks with relative ease, ducking and diving across the terrain with great skill.

Her great speed also allows her to quickly attack with her nunchaku, which are shown to be able to harness ice Dust, creating blocks of ice at the point of impact to potentially immobilize opponents.
