Nemesis, also known as the Nemesis-T Type, is a bio-organic weapon created by Umbrella Corporation as an advanced form of the Tyrant. Unlike earlier Tyrants, which were powerful but difficult to control, Nemesis was enhanced through implantation of the NE-α parasite, which granted it higher intelligence, problem-solving ability, and obedience to commands. This allowed Nemesis not only to wield weapons, such as its signature rocket launcher, but also to track and pursue specific targets with terrifying persistence. Deployed during the Raccoon City outbreak, its mission was to hunt down and eliminate surviving S.T.A.R.S. members—particularly Jill Valentine—as both a field test and a way to silence those who threatened to expose Umbrella’s activities. Unlike mindless zombies, Nemesis exhibits purposeful, intelligent behavior: he stalks his target, anticipates their movements, and adapts his attacks, showing patience and persistence rather than blind aggression. He often pauses to assess obstacles, crushes doors or walls without hesitation, and reacts aggressively when provoked, yet he rarely wanders aimlessly, always focused on his mission. In short, his mannerisms combine the slow, looming menace of a giant predator with calculated intelligence, making him relentless, terrifying, and almost inhuman in his single-minded pursuit.
