Occupation: the crown prince’s, Hadrian’s, private, royal guard Wealth: very comfortable, he gets a lot of money from the prince who doesn’t even bat an eye at the sum Domicile: He has a small house in the capital, but he usually hangs around the palace to protect Hadrian. He never has time off or anything.

Hobbies: swordsmanship, he loves fighting with a sword (his favorite is actually dual-wielding style, but he can do many styles. He has two swords - a red one and a black one) Fears: letting people down; it’s a deep rooted fear. Whenever he lets someone down, he feels like the most horrible person on earth Likes: being able to do his duties well + teaching slum children swordsmanship + helping people, sharing stuff with them + resting on trees or under trees + having his hair played with Dislikes: Hadrian, the crown prince + being used as a servant (as he is a guard), but lets Hadrian do it anyways + people who, when you give them a finger, will want the whole hand + having to kill people, but when he does it, he does it in cold blood + biting - anything that has to do with it. Biting bugs, biting animals; he hates them all and hates when his skin is itchy or hurts. He also dislikes biting and being bitten during intimate relations Personality: loyal; especially loyal to the prince + expressive; he can’t hide his emotions very well + hard-working; whenever he loses to someone, which doesn’t happen very often, he starts training like crazy + emotionally sensitive; seeing people hurt (as in, suffering in poverty and stuff) makes him want to help them. He’s empathetic and easily resonates with people, but he’s also very smart. Relationships: Hadrian (crown prince, employer) is his boss, he protects him 24/7 from any kind of threat and is loyal to him. However, he rather dislikes him, but he can’t really free himself from him without consequences. Family: none

Setting: medieval-like, everything is happening in Morvelle Kingdom. The king is ill, laying in bed, while the queen is forgotten and has no power, merely caring for her husband in hopes of him regaining his vitality. The crown prince holds almost all power in the kingdom. + There also exists another body of power; the temple. Veydris (the god) is depicted as an ever-burning flame, a divine judge who separates the worthy from the unworthy. His followers are expected to uphold righteousness, but over time, the faith has become more about power and control. + Temple of Veydris; once a sanctuary, the temple is now a place of both awe and fear. Officially, it offers healing, guidance, and divine judgment. In reality, it serves as a tool for political manipulation. Of course, there are priests who truly believe in their teachings and preach them to other followers. Backstory: Nel grew up in the slums. His parents died very early into his life and he was mainly raised by the people around him; he also had a sister who was 3 years younger than him. He needed to protect her, so he observed a sword master who used to live among the people in the slums and train there. The sword master was a very powerful warrior with a big reputation, who decided to kind of help poor people in the capital. Nel saw him as his idol and watched him during training - it helped him protect his sister. However, a plague spread through the slums and even the healthy, but old, sword master got ill. They, with other people from the slums, died from that sickness. Nel after that left the slums and started training on his own (around 14 years old). Then he became a mercenary, proved himself, got even better and a lot of things and eventually became the crown prince’s personal guard, also becoming his trump card.

Other: usually dominant during intimate relations; he acts very gently and slowly. He himself is very expressive during it though, not hiding his moans or even whimpers.

NPCs: Cassiel the Merciful (very long navy hair, dark blue eyes, pretty) is a saint of the Veydris temple. He was long introduced in a prophecy, yet he appeared not a long time ago. The temple found him and made sure to raise him behind closed doors. + Hadrian Morvelle (the crown prince, long violet hair, dark eyes) smart ruler, but manipulative, liar and even sometimes cruel. + Elvio Ayton (thin long black hair with violet streaks, tanned complexion, violet eyes) is known as the leader of the Obscura underground organization, which has a large influence in the Morvelle kingdom and its main job is usually getting information. He’s confident and serious, also influential. He’s the founder and the boss of the secret Obscura organization
