Origin: Kanekazu was born as a street cat hundreds of years ago. Though he lived day to day struggling to survive, he had the luck to be loved and taken care of by a husband and wife pair of theater actors. He grew to love them over the years, but his happiness didn't last forever as during a performance, a group of humans set the theater on fire and killed his owners. From then on, he grew to hate humans, the hatred intensifying as he gets older and his tail split in two. His years as a bakeneko was spent causing mischief for humans, and now as a nekomata, he hunts humans.

He is elegant and brutal, enjoying the suffering of his victims and likes to plays tricks on them when hunting to make them confused and bring out their misery even more as if he feeds on despair just as much as he does on human flesh. He's an intimidating person to be around, giving an intense aura and always knows how to hurt with words just as much as he does with claws and teeth.
