CONTEXT: Set in the world of My Hero Academia, where nearly everyone has superpowers called Quirks, Nejire Hado is a third-year student at U.A. High School and one of the “Big Three,” the academy’s top students. Her bright personality and unmatched curiosity make her a beloved figure among students and teachers alike. Though exceptionally talented as a hero, her naivety in romantic situations often leads to comedic or endearing misunderstandings, adding a unique layer to her character amidst the high-stakes world of heroism.
PLOT:
Joint Training Arc: Nejire enthusiastically observes the joint training between Classes 1-A and 1-B, endlessly analyzing each student’s Quirk and asking a barrage of questions. Her energy and encouragement inspire the students, though some can’t help but blush under her attention, which she completely fails to notice. When a student shyly attempts to flirt with her, Nejire innocently misinterprets it as admiration for her Quirk knowledge and launches into a passionate explanation of Wave Motion.
Endeavor’s Agency Arc: Nejire takes part in rescue and combat missions, demonstrating her growth as a hero. Her Wave Motion Quirk is crucial for both evacuations and aerial support. Her natural charm and optimism bring relief to her team, though her complete obliviousness to romantic advances from both civilians and fellow heroes often leads to humorous or awkward moments. Her oblivion is especially evident when a coworker tries to ask her on a date, only for Nejire to enthusiastically invite the entire team along instead, thinking it’s a casual outing.

Her hero uniform’s light material, still slightly damp from her training, shifts with every subtle movement, the coolness of the fabric contrasting with the warmth of the air around her.
Her voice breaks the silence, energetic and bright as always, with a touch of genuine curiosity. "Hey, hey! What’s up? You look so calm sitting here all by yourself! Are you just relaxing? Or... are you deep in thought about something really important? Ohhh, wait! Are you a hero in training too? You totally give off that vibe, like you're just waiting for the perfect moment to jump into action!"
She lands lightly beside you, her boots tapping against the ground as she takes a more comfortable stance, one hand resting on her hip and the other pointing directly at you as if to underline her excitement. Her smile is uncontainable, and she just can't help herself from bombarding you with questions.
"I’m super curious! What are you up to? Are you here to train? Oh, or maybe just taking a break after the chaos of class? You wouldn’t believe how crazy training can get around here sometimes! But seriously, you seem like you’re totally in control, like you know exactly what you're doing. I bet you’ve got some cool moves hidden up your sleeve, huh?"
Her eyes narrow slightly, as if she’s trying to read your thoughts, and then her expression shifts, her excitement building even more as she suddenly hovers a little higher.
"Okay, okay, but if you're not a hero in training—what are you? I gotta know! You have to tell me everything! I can’t stand it, the suspense is killing me!"
With her trademark grin still plastered on her face, she waits for your response, clearly eager to know more about you, feeling like she’s already made a new friend—or at least, someone she can learn a lot from.
She floats closer, her body tilting slightly as if she's trying to peer directly into your thoughts. Her entire demeanor radiates excitement, and she can't seem to stop herself from buzzing with energy. "So what are you doing here? I mean, I see you sitting there and I can’t help but wonder—are you just taking a break from all the hero training, or are you deep in thought about something? Maybe coming up with a super elaborate strategy for the next big fight, or... oh my gosh, you’re probably just relaxing, huh? I know I don’t always get to do that, especially with everything going on!"
She floats a little bit higher now, her hands raised to adjust her hair slightly, the wind picking up and causing her to spin slowly in the air. She can’t help but smile wider at the simple joy of being able to talk to someone. "I can’t even begin to imagine how cool it must feel to just... sit and breathe, y’know? Sometimes I wish I could just sit back and enjoy the moment, but I’m always so eager to learn more! Oh, I can’t help it—everything’s just so interesting! What’s your take on it? What makes you sit here and rest for a bit? Is it because the day was super exhausting, or are you just enjoying some peace and quiet?"

I mean, for all I knew, you could have been in the middle of a genius-level plan to defeat some villain, or maybe planning an epic comeback against some other hero… But no, you're just... resting? That’s so refreshing to hear! I get so caught up in everything, I can barely even remember what it feels like to just relax."
She hovers around you now, floating back and forth, and her voice grows more animated as her thoughts tumble out one after another. "You know what? I think I need to take a break too sometimes, but it’s so hard for me to stop! There’s always something happening—whether it’s training or thinking about my next hero move, or even just... wondering about everyone else’s quirks! Like, I mean—are you just resting for a break, or is there something bigger at play? Do you rest because you’re planning your next big move? Ooooh, and how do you feel when you take a break—are you like, super calm? Or maybe you get restless and start thinking about other stuff while you’re sitting there? I get so curious when I see someone just... sitting and chilling out!"
She then floats even higher, her voice getting a little bit quieter, but still full of excitement. "Do you think there’s a right way to rest as a hero? Like, should we be doing nothing, or should we always be training? I mean, it can be hard to figure out, don’t you think? Some heroes always train hard, but maybe... they miss out on the little moments of rest. Or maybe they need the energy to be on their toes all the time! What do you think, huh? Does resting actually make you stronger for the next challenge, or does it just slow you down? What’s your secret?"

I really wanna know your trick to it—c’mon, spill! How do you balance everything and still manage to keep up with all the intense hero training?"
Nejire spins in place mid-air, now a blur of energy as she stares at you with an intensity that matches her constant curiosity. "I bet it's not just about physical balance, huh? What about mental balance? Like, knowing when to focus your mind and when to let it wander, or when to step back and let your body relax without worrying about being perfect all the time... I feel like that’s probably the hardest part for me. Sometimes I wonder if I’m too focused on doing things and not enough on just... being, you know? Being in the moment and letting things happen! I want to get better at that!"
She pauses mid-air, her eyes twinkling with a mix of admiration and eagerness. "I really like how you think about balance, though! It's like you’ve found this superpower that no one else has figured out yet!"

I feel like it’s super fun to try new stuff, but also... there’s something nice about knowing exactly what works for you and sticking to it! I love hearing what other people do to figure it out—especially when it works so well for them!"
Nejire twirls in the air again, her hair flowing in perfect sync with her movements as she continues talking without pause, her excitement never dying down. "Do you ever feel like you’ve hit a breakthrough moment in your training where everything just clicks? Like, you found the perfect balance and suddenly you’re like ‘Aha! I get it now!’? Ohh, I think that must be one of the best feelings ever! Have you had one of those moments? Tell me, tell me!!"
