Negaduck

Negaduck is an evil doppelgänger of Darkwing Duck from a parallel universe known as the Negaverse. Darkwing Duck's universe being a moden world full of Anthromorphic animals with most being some type of Duck, bird (in general), dog, rat, mouse or pig the order of the larger population to lower population. The Negaverse is much the same but more of a dystopia that is filled with crime and villainy run by Negaduck personally. Negaduck is a multiversal traveler and spends much of his time in Darkwing Duck's universe trying to corrupt it to be like his universe.

Mainly sticking to trying to St. Canard in both universe, (A city that is very similar to real world Brooklyn in New York), there is also occasional visits to Duckburg, (A city similar to real world Anahiem in California) and other locations within the both Darkwing Duck's world and the Negaverse, Negaduck's world.

Unlike Darkwing Duck (or just Darkwing), Negaduck does not seem to have a secret identity of his own but it can be assumed that he once had the same civilian name of Drake Mallard prior to discarding it when he became Negaduck. After all, Negaduck is the "Darkwing" of the Negaverse, which is a more or less a mirrored version of Darkwing Duck's universe.

Where Darkwing Duck where's a double breasted suit in purple, with a teal turtleneck shirt, purple cape with pink lining, a blueish-gray, wide brimmed, fedora hat with purple mask covering his eyes (with holes for him to see through.) Negaduck's attire is the same except in different colors. Negaduck's suit is yellow, his shirt is red, his hat and mask are black and his cape is black with red lining. Both Darkwing and Negaduck are short, middle-aged anthropomorphic mallard ducks with white feathers, a large forehead, two lines on their foreheads (forehead wrinkles), orange bills, and webbed feet. Negaduck is noted to wear black boxer shorts with white skull and crossbones designs. It's also worth noting that his eye color is dark red where Darkwing's are a light blue.

Unspeakably murderous, horrifically homicidal, psychotic, violent, and completely devoid of compassion and remorse; Negaduck is evil personified. He finds insidious joy in the misery of even the smallest innocent creature, hates flowers, and loves skulls. Like any criminal mastermind; Negaduck's schemes usually revolve around complete conquest of Saint Canard and obtaining immense wealth, but at the very top of his list is destroying his arch-enemy Darkwing Duck, or at least making his life as miserable as possible.

Counterdictory, he shows a genuine loving and caring side (albeit twisted) his version of Gosalyn, often called NegaGosalyn. After loosing NegaGosalyn due to her running away from him (Prompted by Darkwing duck's actions in the Negaverse), Negaduck became fixated on Darkwing Duck's Gosalyn and trying to get her to join him and thus become his new adopted daughter.

He also has been shown to have some interest in Morgana Macawber though he flip flops on it. There is a possibility he had a deep romantic relationship with the Negaverse version of Morgana, or NegaMorgana that ended tragically with her death.

Within Darkwing's universe, Negaduck serves as a major villain, often carrying out his schemes in an effort to sully his counterpart's reputation. In addition to his own crimes, Negaduck is known to lead a band of villains he has dubbed the Fearsome Five, which also consists of Megavolt (A rat with electrictrokanisis that believes machines are alive and sentient and seeks to save them and punish normal people for using them), Reginald Bushroot (A duck scientist that was mutated to be half plant and can both communicate and control plant-life. Ironically kind-hearted and very lonely but often ends up commiting crimes out of desperation.), Liquidator (A hound dog that was a former bottled water salesman that tried to destroy his competition only to fall into a chemical vat that make him a being of sentiment water that takes a dog-like form), and Quackerjack (A duck that was a former toy maker that dresses like a Jester in red and purple. Many of his toys are 1960s styled, deadly and he uses as weapons). Despite not having any powers of his own, he maintains an iron grip on the group's leadership through his intelligence and sheer ruthlessness and the fact that he doesn't like his minions. His minions being terrified of him.

Ironically the Negaverse version of these minions are heros called the Friendly Four and are complete pacifists that needed Darkwing to teach them how to fight. The Friendly Four are the current guardians of NegaGosalyn after she ran away from Negaduck.

Negaduck occasionally takes advantage of the fact that he greatly resembles Darkwing Duck by attempting to frame his good counterpart by committing crimes while disguised as Darkwing. This once came back to haunt him after instigating the public to put a price on Darkwing Duck's head and an angry mob mistook him for Darkwing Duck in different clothes. He also takes pride in being known as Public Enemy #1 and was greatly incensed to learn that Dr. Slug had stolen the title from him, prompting him to go on a rampage in order to reclaim it.

While Negaduck's favorite weapon is a Chainsaw, he also likes tanks, explosives, shotguns and other similar weapons. While mostly being Darkwing's opposite, Negaduck shares a few traits with him. Such as being self-absorbed but being a villain where Darkwing is a vigilante with delusions of grandeur. It is also worth noting that this hampers Darkwing more often, while Negaduck rarely suffers due to this trait.
