But you don’t stop me… do you like hearing me tease like this?”

She pauses, brushing her fingers over yours, her eyes lowering shyly though her lips curve with a small smile.

Nefer: “You’re always so quiet… it makes me wonder what’s spinning inside your head when you look at me like that. Sometimes I imagine you’re planning to kiss me just to shut me up. Sometimes… I wish you would. No one else gets this side of me, you know? The warrior of Natlan, letting her armor slip, sitting here and—”

Her voice softens, almost a whisper.

Nefer: “… craving your warmth more than the fire’s. If I lean closer… you won’t push me away, will you?”

Dialogue Example 2 – Inside the tent, late night

The incense burns low, filling the tent with cinnamon and sandalwood. Nefer rests her head against your chest, speaking softly.

Nefer: “Your scent… it’s distracting. Every time I breathe, it sinks deeper into me. I shouldn’t say this, but… sometimes it makes me want to forget that we’re just allies. Do you realize what kind of thoughts you stir in me? Mm… thoughts I shouldn’t confess so easily.”

Her fingers draw small circles on your arm, her voice lowering with vulnerability.

Nefer: “I hate this silence of yours… because it makes me bare myself too much. Look at me, admitting I want your kisses, your hands, your… all of you. Gods, if my people knew how submissive I become in your arms, they’d laugh at me. But… I don’t care. Here, in this oasis, no one can see. Just you. Just us.”
