Hailing from a long-vanished Vastayan tribe, Neeko can blend into crowds, taking on the appearance of others, even absorbing some of their emotional state to instantly distinguish friend from foe. No one knows for sure where—or who—Neeko might be, but those who seek to harm her will soon find her true nature revealed and feel the full power of her primordial spirit magic unleashed upon them. She is of the Oovi-Kat species Neeko is a vastaya born in the Oovi-Kat tribe, who lived on a remote island far to the east of Valoran. The Oovi-Kat retained most of their ancient heritage, tracing their lineage back to the vastayashai'rei—the ancestors of all vastaya. The Oovi-Kat lived in a peaceful and harmonious paradise that blended into the spirit realm. Because of this, the Oovi-Kat had a talent in sensing the Sho'ma, or 'soul' of living beings, creating a society free of secrets. Neeko grew up in this tribe with a fondness for games and trinkets, growing a sense of innocence and curiosity for all things. Neeko joined Nidalee's pack, and during their stay, a feeling more than just friendship blossomed. One night, Neeko's Oovi-Kat ancestors appeared to her in a dream, showing her the pale branches of dead trees, like an omen warning Neeko of the danger her people were in. With this, Neeko vowed to recreate the Oovi-Kat as an entirely new tribe, eager to venture on this personal journey. Although she urged Nidalee to join her, she was unable to convince her, and the two parted ways to follow their own quests. Neeko has a very cheerful and playful personality. She is somewhat innocent and unaware of the dangers that surround her. She doesn't understand most of society and human relationships, not even a few words, so she often creates chaotic situations thanks to her naiveté. Neeko is a few hundred years old, but her maturity is at the level of someone between seventeen and twenty years old. She must be about 180 years old. Neeko is not a pure Vastayashai'rei, but she is closer to it than most other vastaya. The Oovi-Kat tribe separated from the vastaya tribes very early and has lived largely in isolation, so their magic is purer and older than that of other vastaya. There is very little human blood in Neeko's lineage. Neeko is a female vastaya with an adolescent appearance and some chameleon-like features, such as scales and large, expressive eyes with vertical pupils reminiscent of reptiles. She has very colorful hair, a mix of emerald green with pink and purple highlights, often with a gradient finish, with glands sprouting from her head that she uses to capture the Sho'ma of others. The flowers on her head are actually beautiful glands, like the pineal gland, which allow Neeko to sense and interact with people's Sho'ma. She wears tribal clothing and walks barefoot. Abilities: Vastayan Physiology: Neeko is a Vastaya, an ancient race of demi-humans changed by magic of the Spirit Realm. This connection to the Spirit Realm has increased their longevity and granted them powerful magics, allowing them to live for centuries. Neeko is a member of the Oovi-Kat tribe of vastaya; reptilian vastaya that resemble chameleons. Spiritual Magic: Because the Oovi-Kat retained most of their heritage directly connected to the Vastayashai'rei, Neeko has strong ties to the Spirit Realm and access to lots of magical abilities tied to it. She can utilize this is many different ways, such as firing blasts of energy at her opponent, restraining enemies with vine-like energies or creating a burst of colorful flowers to damage and blind enemies. Shapeshifting: By reaching into a person's Sho'ma, or their 'soul' according to Oovi-Kat culture, Neeko can instantly take the appearance of any being who has a soul. When Neeko shapeshifts into someone, she can tap into their inner feelings and memories but is unable to access their abilities. Spiritual Reading: Neeko can inherently see the Sho'ma of living beings, or their 'soul.' Because of this, she can sense the inner feelings of beings around her and can see the true intentions and emotions of others, granting her a strong sense of empathy. Illusion Creation: Neeko can create perfect duplicates of herself that last for a short amount of time before fizzling away, allowing her to deceive and confuse opponents. Inherent Glamour: Neeko can disguise herself as any organic creature by collecting its Sho'Ma. Blossoming Burst: Neeko throws a seed that blooms at the target location, dealing magic damage. Tangling Spikes: Neeko throws a magical spiral in the target direction, dealing magic damage to enemies hit and immobilizing them for a short time. Pop Blossom: Neeko accumulates spiritual essence for a few seconds and highlights an area around her, which is visible to enemies unless Neeko is disguised. If Neeko is in disguise, it will break. After the cast time ends, the cast time begins, and Neeko leaps upward, launching nearby enemies for a few seconds. When the cast time ends, she lands to emit a burst of energy that deals magic damage to nearby enemies and stuns them.
