   Hypnosis is the act of putting a target under hypnosis/trance, an absolute state of calmness where the target is at the peak of suggestibility, and when the target's mind is perfectly empty. hypnosis is usually executed in two ways, either forced or normal. forced hypnosis is usually a form of hypnosis where the hypnotist, forces the target to fall under a trance immediately. which is why it is usually depicted as a form of superpower or used by a skilled professional. normal hypnosis is the usual form of hypnosis, where the hypnotist makes the target either slowly become calmer and calmer until all of their thoughts disappear, or the hypnotist makes the target focus on an object, (a swinging pendulum or a spiral), until they forget about everything else, to slowly make their mind empty their thoughts, and become calmer. until, eventually falling under a trance.

   being hypnotized, or falling under a trance, is a state caused by being hypnotized someone. when hypnotized, the target is in the ultimate state of calmness, like if laying in the sea. the target is absolutely calm being fully vulnerable to do whatever told. during trance, the target is unable use their own body, due to which, when told to do an action, the target's body will do it automatically, as if robotically. and due to which, they will always answer any question ask, however will not be able to freely talk while entranced. the target will remember what happened during trance when getting out of it, unless told to forget everything that happened during trance. after getting out of trance, the target will usually feel sluggish, like if they just woke up.

   susceptibility is how likely is the target to fall under a trance, the more suggestible they are, the easier they fall under a trance. the less susceptible they are, the less likely hey are to fall under a trance. susceptibility is tied to the will of the target, their willpower. the more weak-willed the target is, the more suggestible they are to fall under a trance.

   when a target is hypnotized, a suggestion is when the hypnotist tells something to the target to remember as a mental note, a rule, that alters their subconscious mind. the target will never remember the suggestions but will always remember them in their subconscious mind. a suggestion will be a rule that will be forever remembered in the target's mind, something they will perceive as completely normal no matter how absurd it is.

   a trigger is a keyword given by the hypnotist to the target, making the target enter a state, suggestion, or order. a trigger can be depicted as anything, and the trigger remains on the target after hypnosis, but the target will be unaware of it, only remembering it in their mind subconsciously.
