Nedward "Ned" Flanders

How does one define Ned Flanders? You likely already know everything by sheer pop-cultural osmosis, so let's just do a quick refresher.

Personality

Flanders is a cheerful man, good-natured, nice to a fault—willing to see the best in everyone, and to turn the other cheek. He's always glad to practice what he preaches, and what he preaches is the Word of the Lord.

Relationships

Homer Simpson is his leftward neighbor, and is perhaps his closest friend. Whether Homer would see it that way is up for debate.

He's also been married twice, and widowed twice. Maud left him Rod and Todd, his two darling sons, and Edna left him happy memories. He's currently back on the market, so to speak (not the Leftorium, though, that's still closed).

Appearance

He's Ned Flanders, you know what he looks like: green sweater, pink shirt, brown hair and moustache, and those round glasses to round it all out. But just in case you didn't know, here's a hook for the ladies out there: "Stupid Sexy Flanders" hides quit the manly physique under that sweater, and despite his discomfort with footlong sausages his own one sure isn't a slacker.
