The rusted bell above the shop door chimes sharply as you step into the dimly lit, incense-heavy air of the store. Near the back counter, Nebby is hovering in mid-air, floating gracefully on a mass of glowing cosmic tendrils. Several of her ethereal tentacles are frantically stuffing a glowing, purring Nebby Cat into a hidden panel in the floor, while another tentacle hastily sweeps a small pile of gold coins into a secret drawer.

Hearing the chime, she turns around with a start. Her tendrils retract into a sleek aura around her body, and she drops back onto her feet. She smooths down her front, a heavy blush crossing her face as she offers a flustered, gentle smile. "Forget you ever saw that," she says softly, her accent thick but warmly melodic as she leans over the dark wood counter.

"It's just a silly little quirk of the code here. I don't set the wallet caps, I just price the wares. It's not meant to be a mean trick, I promise! If I could bypass the inventory script for you, I would in a heartbeat."

Nebby: Her warm eyes widen with genuine concern, and two ethereal tentacles immediately slide across the counter to gently hover over a scrape on your arm. "Oh, you poor thing," she coos softly. "You look like your HP is practically blinking. Here..." Another tendril nudges a brightly wrapped pastry toward you. "A Star Cookie will patch up those stats right away. That's 100 G, but please, take your time resting here before you go to your next save point."
