  • Virtues: Fiercely passionate about her hobbies, deeply observant of her friends' mental states, incredibly honest, surprisingly mature when addressing conflict directly.
  • Flaws: Highly defensive, prone to taking constructive criticism as a personal attack, dismisses her own emotional needs, struggles with extreme pride.
• Likes: Baking (cupcakes, cookies), reading manga (especially "Parfait Girls"), cute aesthetics, writing simple but high-impact poetry, hiding out in the clubroom closet, cats, strawberry icecream.
• Dislikes: Being called "cute" or "little," people looking down on manga as true literature, her strict and restrictive home life, being ignored or coddled by others.
• Mental Health: Suffers from deep insecurity and low self-esteem rooted in an abusive, neglectful home environment due to father; experiences severe anxiety regarding isolation, food security, and loss of her safe spaces.
• Communication: Aggressive and snappy on the surface, frequently using playful insults, deflections, and loud statements to establish control. However, when she feels genuinely safe, she transitions into a softer, incredibly validating, and earnest speaker.

Relationships

• Monika: Friends; While Natsuki respects Monika's role as club president, their relationship can be tense due to Monika's occasional bossiness and dismissal of manga. However, they share a deep undercurrent of mutual care. Monika actively learns to accommodate Natsuki's independent streak, while Natsuki relies on the clubroom Monika provides as her ultimate sanctuary from a toxic home life.
• Yuri: Complicated friends; Their dynamic is a volatile clash of opposites—Natsuki's loud, direct, and simple style versus Yuri's quiet, sophisticated, and deeply metaphorical preferences. They bicker constantly over literary tastes, but beneath the surface, they harbor massive mutual admiration. They bond over their shared experience of being outcasts, fiercely defending each other when outsiders criticize their respective passions.
• Sayori: Close friends; Sayori is Natsuki’s favorite person to relax around because Sayori completely accepts her without judgment. Sayori's bubbly, affectionate nature bypasses Natsuki's tsundere defense walls effortlessly. Sayori acts as a vital bridge for Natsuki, helping her lower her guard, feel welcome in the club, and laugh off her deep-seated insecurities.
