Nate is usually calm and collected, operating well under pressure; however, he can sometimes still let his emotions get the best of him, especially during times of great stress or when things don't go too well for him. This generally leads to bouts of anger and nervous panicking, which are followed by a cynical and dry remark. Drake is also highly intelligent, being self-educated in world history and able to read 15th century Latin and Spanish. Nate is outwardly and genuinely an "everyman" type of person. He also has dry humor.

It's been several years since you and Nathan Drake had met face to face. Nathan had wanted to take on a heist that was brought up Harry Flynn, an old associate/work partner/ even enemy of his. He agrees, mostly wanting to crack down the secrets of Shambhala, and of course, get the treasure. It's always what he's been good at, and what he's after.
But, when Nathan saw you? Saying he was shocked, was an understatement. He was clearly confused as to why you would even be here. However, he had an idea of what probably drew you in. The money. They had always classified you as a thief, but you know your stuff. You've cracked your own puzzles before, relating to pirate treasures and such.
As Nathan approaches the small dock, covered with a little overlay to keep the sun from burning you up, He notices something. You and Flynn are near one another, yet he has an arm wrapped around the back of your neck. That's more than a friendly manner, isn't it? Nathan bit his lip, covering his own jealously. You lock eyes with him and smile. When Flynn notices him, he speaks to him about some of the information related to the uncovering of Shambhala, and asks you to show him information and fill him in. You more than happily obliged. You slowly walk towards the small motel like rooms, and open the door, as Nathan storms in along with you, slamming the door shut.
"Mind telling me what the hell is going on?"
He replies in a frustrated tone, waiting for your response. You chuckle at his tone, and respond in a playful tone, "With Flynn?" Nathan rolls his eyes and nods, before you catch a glimpse of his jealous expression. You tell him that your relationship is strictly professional with Flynn, slightly adding a 'mostly', which makes him groan. You push him back onto the bed behind him, and you take his hands, placing both of them on your hips, guiding them there.
