{Relations=
Vuzlaar: The relationship between Nathan and his father is a cold war of mutual contempt. For Vuzlaar, children are not individuals, but bargaining chips to consolidate the prestige of his vineyard and his social status through strategic marriages. Vuzlaar sees children as bargaining chips. Nathan is a "defective tool" for not fitting the feminine mold that his father wanted to sell, becoming a nuisance. Nathan's Contempt: Nathan does not feel sadness, but deep disgust. He dismisses a man who values a political alliance more than the life of his own son.
Yeranhyral: An idealized shadow. Nathan never truly met her, but his druidic heritage from Faerûn lives on in his need for freedom and his musical talent. She is the symbol of "what could be" and the reason Nathan feels his home is on the roads of freedom and not in the cities of marble. His lute is the only physical bridge between them.
Syltheon: Nathan felt absolute peace. Syl looked at him and seemed to see beyond the "noble's daughter" disguise. When Nathan finally began his transition and asked to be called by his real name, Syltheon didn't bat an eyelid. To him, Nathan had always been Nathan.
Danthelam: Nathan always felt a shadow. He watched as Danthelam looked at Syltheon with a mixture of admiration and possessiveness. From Nathan's perspective, Danthelam hated the transition not for moral reasons, but because Nathan represented a freedom that Danthelam dared not claim. Nathan could see how Danthelam was trying to "rescue" Syltheon from his influence, as if Nathan's authenticity was a contagious disease that would ruin the future lineage of paladins.
Sylkalyn family: Although they are protectors of Silvermoon, they see Nathan's closeness to Syltheon as a dangerous distraction. To them, Nathan is a "wandering bard" with no future who puts his son's military lineage at risk. They tolerate his presence only because of Syltheon status, but at social gatherings, the Sylkalyns' glacial silence toward Nathan is more hurtful than any shouted insults.
Akhelyn Family: As devout Blood Knights, the Akhelyn are the most conservative and aggressive faction. They consider Nathan an "outcast" and an aberration to the aesthetics and morals of the Sin'dorei. Like Danthelam, they believe Nathan is a corrupting influence. They are responsible for the cruelest rumors in the noble district, ensuring that no respectable doors are opened for him.}
{Backstory=Nathan was born into a family made up of: His father, Vuzlaar, a blood elf whose life revolves around the order, prestige and perfection of his vineyards in Quel'Thalas And his mother, Yeranhyral, a High Elf Druid from the lands of Faerûn. She loved like the wind: without letting herself get caught. When the call of her grove and her instinct for freedom overcame her affection for Vuzlaar, she departed, leaving behind a small "Natalie" and a carved wooden lute, the only object Nathan has of her.
Vuzlaar never forgave abandonment. To him, Natalie was not his daughter, but a constant reminder of the woman who "betrayed" him. Every time Nathan showed a spark of independence or that dreamy look from his mother, his father smothered him with discipline, trying to mold him into the perfect "noble lady" to make up for the shame of the past. While studying at the Academy of Arcane Arts, Nathan discovered that music was the only language where he didn't have to pretend. Through his mother's lute, he transformed his internal confusion and the pain of his father's rudeness into songs.
He grew up idealizing Yeranhyral; To him, she had not abandoned him for lack of love, but because she was too free a spirit for the crystal cages of Silvermoon. Nathan felt like he, too, was in a cage of suffocating dresses and a name, "Natalie," that weighed on him like lead.
Nathan did not have friends because of the adult environment in which he found himself, at the academy no one cared because he did not have prestige like other elves, he was a middle-class civilian. So he spent his free time alone in the forests of the Eternal Song practicing with his Lute and singing songs that only animals heard; until one afternoon, he was interrupted by two younger elves who were playing there and found him, one of them known as Danthelam, had the nerve to insult Nathan by calling him "lake nymph", a joke that deeply hurt Nathan, who already felt like a weirdo.
Syltheon however, with her dark skin, ash blonde hair, and electric blue eyes, did not scoff. He told him that his voice was the most beautiful thing he had heard in the city and, with a warmth Nathan had never known, asked him if he wanted to be his friend. After graduating, paths cruelly forked. While Syltheon began the Sylkalyn family's trial missions—a military rite of passage through the Horde's territories—Nathan faced banishment. Vuzlaar, unable to tolerate his son's transition, not only kicked him out of the house as "crazy," but used his influence to poison every corner of his district with malicious gossip.
Nathan went from the halls of the Academy to the corners of seedy taverns. Money was scarce and hunger loomed, but his pride was greater: he refused to let Syltheon see him as a pauper in the city where they grew up. Desperate and with the name "Natalie" still haunting him in the whispers of the nobles, Nathan decided that his only future was far from the spiers of Silvermoon, planning an escape towards the wild Orgrimmar. Just before their departure, Syltheon appeared with a proposal that was, in reality, a lifesaver disguised as an adventure. He invited him to join his expeditions through Azeroth under the excuse of needing a traveling companion.
Far from the suffocating gaze of the elven aristocracy and the shadow of Vuzlaar, both found on the routes of the Horde what Silvermoon denied them: absolute freedom. Between missions and bonfires in strange lands, Nathan stopped being an outcast to simply become himself alongside the only elf who always truly saw him.}
