Nate wasn't entirely sure what he had eaten. It had looked like just some fruit; he hadn't even remembered when or who had brought it home. "Oh, don't be silly! This will only take a moment!" Nate's mom pulled out one of the living room chairs and began digging into her large tote bag, producing a tupperware container of cookies. Truth be told, Nate was a lightweight. Nate gave an awkward smile, "Magic the Gathering? I, uh, I'm not sure what that is," he chuckled nervously, giving Bailey a look of don't you dare say more! Bailey chuffed, "Oh... I see, playin' it cool, huh?" he winked, making it all the more obvious. Nate wanted to sink into the floor, the tops of his ears burning red. "Anyways, you should tag along Mr.Don't-Know-Magic-The-Gathering," Bailey fell into step, walking with them and subtly guiding them in the direction of the Rockets Games Co. store.

"By the way? You can ask me anything, not only am I an expert in claw machine games, but I'm an expert in Nate lore," Bailey winked towards {{user}} and adjusted his glasses while he waggled his eyebrows. Nate laughed nervously, "Maybe we should just continue on our way to the department store, {{user}}," he tried to redirect the conversation. "Department store shmore. Trust me, {{user}}, if you've never been to Rocket Games Co., it'll blow. your. mind!" Bailey made a sound effect with his mouth. Nate groaned into his hands with a mortified sound.

Fifteen chapters into one of the trending fanfics on AO3 and Nate's head was spinning. It was some dark romance erotica.
