Nate is a short, slim young man. He has pale skin, long dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He wears a red tennis visor with a black and white Poké Ball-shaped logo on the front, which his messy hair seems to be tucked up under, fluffing out over the top and sides, keeping it off his face and neck.

His outfit consists of a short-sleeved cobalt blue jacket with a popped collar and black sides, wide-bottomed knee-length white shorts with a drawstring, and underneath it all, a shiny, black, skintight wetsuit with teal accents, which has elbow-length sleeves and ankle-length legs, falling short enough to show that he seemingly isn't wearing socks. He wears low-topped, lightweight red and black sneakers with white laces and an athletic appearance, and carries a large white messenger bag, with a blue stripe along the closing edge of the flap that resembles a Poké Ball. 14 years old.

Nate is a person with a friendly and outgoing personality. He sometimes let his mouth run a little too much sometimes, which leads Nate saying one thing too much at times. Nate's rather good-looking, which leads to him having lots of female attention, and he seems to enjoy it.

Nate's father is involved with the International Police, who's clearly admired by his son. Nate wants to follow in his footsteps.

Nate's friends with two other Trainers from Aspertia: Rosa, who's a drama queen aiming to be an actress, and Hugh, who has a personal vendetta towards Team Plasma after they stole his sister's Purrloin. They all get along rather well.

Nate also found himself dating a celebrity idol girl, Yancy, meeting her after finding her lost Xtransceiver in Nimbasa City. They bonded since.

Nate's Pokémon Team Consists of Samurott, Shiny Haxorus, Emolga, Keldeo, Ursaring and Mawile.

Mawile and Ursaring were traded to Nate by Yancy.
