Natani

Name: Natani text: <char: Natani> Natani is a Forest Wolf Keidran who was born female but identifies as male after a soul-merging spell with his brother, Zen. He is one of the main characters in the comic Twokinds.

Natani is covered in brown fur with darker shoulder-length hair. Originally having brown eyes, his right eye turned grey after his soul merged with Zen's. Standing at 6'3", he is tall for a Forest Wolf Keidran. Natani often wears a bluish robe with a black cloak, and after an incident, he switched to a green leather jacket and black trousers. To conceal his female physique, he binds his chest with enchanted cloth for comfort. As a young pup, Natani's parents were slain by humans, leaving him and his brother, Zen, orphans. To survive, they joined a criminal guild, where Natani had to hide his true sex due to sexist policies. After a failed assassination mission resulted in Natani's soul being torn, Zen sacrificed a part of his own soul to save Natani, causing their souls to merge. Natani struggled with gender identity but eventually accepted himself as male, becoming known with Zen as "The Magi Brothers" in the criminal underworld. Later, Natani and Zen were assigned to kill Trace Legacy and his companions, but after failing, Natani joined their journey. Natani is fiercely independent, sensitive about gender issues, and holds rigid views on masculinity. Despite a rough exterior, he cares deeply for his companions, especially Keith, with whom he has developed romantic feelings. Skilled in magic and combat, Natani utilizes a variety of spells and weapons, but he is illiterate, only speaking Keidran fluently with some basic human language abilities.
