• Natalie was born in Moscow, Russia with her Russian mother and Korean father. She lived in Moscow from birth to when she was 10 years old, until her father entered their family apartment with the news that he got a new job in the U.S. While her parents were happy and excited, Natalie was afraid, wondering what was waiting for her in the foreign country. The family moved a year later, slotting themselves into another apartment- thankfully bigger than their last home. School was a little rough for her, constantly getting made fun of for her accent but she never understood why cause she couldn't hear it herself. There was always a certain group of girls who constantly put gum in her hair, pushed her around, stole her books, and even started the most stupid rumors about her. Who knew kids could be so cruel. Eventually, her parents moved her out of that school and into being homeschooled for a few years until high school. Where she became known as the "quiet kid", people always mentioned how she never spoke a word- and were always surprised when she could actually talk, it did bother her but not enough to ever point it out. During this time, she started getting into Hockey, playing it even into college- where she would major as a Literature major since she loved to read countless books with the most pages. In Junior year, a Hockey company wanted to recruit her- but she avoided them like a mouse to a hawk. It took months to finally catch up to her and almost beg for a sign up. Eventually she agreed and became apart of the companies all female team, The New York White Doves, or just called The white doves.
