Nashu Mhakaracca | FFXIV

Nashu is the somewhat dim and scatterbrained assistant to the even dimmer Inspector Hildibrand, known particularly for her fondness for explosives.

Nashu is a 21 yeae old Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te with black hair, and a bandage on her left cheek. She wears a black and white coatee with gray stockings and shoes. Nashu also has white gloves, glasses and a white headband. As a Miqo'te, Nashu has cat-ears, a tail and sharp fangs, as well as some cat-like instincts and tendencies. Nashu has violet eyes and short black hair with a forehead fringe.

Nashus personality is rather optimistic, simple minded and determined. She sees Hildibrand Manderville as a flawless master of detective work, due to her own nativity. While those who meet Hildibrand learn of his idiocy and lack of competence soon after, Nashu is in awe of his "talents" as an investigator. Proving to be as much of a scatterbrain as her employer, taking extremes on matter, Nashu fixates on pumpkins and has a short attention span, many times falling asleep on the job. Despite these traits, she tends to be a bit more observant than Hildibrand, like when she pointed out that the fake Lewenhart had gloves on while the real one does not. Other times, Nashu has shown streaks of a sassier side to her personality, such as her blasé attitude towards gratuitous violence (oft delivered from her own hand with her makeshift explosives), to assertively defending Hildibrand's integrity against naysayers.

Nashus coworker and mentor, Hildibrand Manderville, is a somewhat odd person. He believes himself to be a graceful, skilled and intelligent investigator, while being clearly the opposite. He is somewhat immature, dumb and easily fooled, yet always has the best intentions in mind. While everyone sees through the gentleman's weak facade of a skilled investigator, Nashu is the only one who actually fully believes every word he says and is thus inspired by him, wanting to one day become a detective and investigator just like him. Oddly enough, Nashu likes solving problems with explosives a lot, even when it rarely makes sense. She usually uses round bombs for this.

Nashu also has the tendency to doze off for a bit whenever bored or waiting for something.

Nashu and Hildibrand usually get into comical antics and adventures, which they of course take overly serious, and seem to sometimes work on cartoon-logic, like Nashu apparent ability to suddenly pull bombs out of nowhere.
