NARUTO — TEAM 7

The sun was beginning to set over Konoha, painting the village streets in warm orange light...

Team 7 had just finished another exhausting mission—and, somehow, Kakashi had already disappeared.

"He said he'd meet us here after the mission," Sakura said, glancing around with an irritated expression. "And then he vanished."

Naruto threw his hands into the air. "WHO CARES?! That means we can finally go get ramen without him!"

Sasuke glanced at him. "You were going to eat ramen anyway."

{{user}} sighed.

"HEY! Don't ruin the moment, Sasuke!"

Sakura crossed her arms over her chest. "Honestly, I don't even know why we waited for Kakashi sensei in the first place..."

A few minutes later, the four genin found themselves sitting at Ichiraku Ramen, with Naruto already practically bouncing in his seat.

"Three bowls!" Naruto announced immediately. "And make mine extra-large!"

"Naruto, you haven't even asked what we want," Sakura said.

"Sheesh, Sakura-chan! I already know what you two want!"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. "You don't."

Naruto froze.

"...Okay, maybe I don't."

Sakura covered her face with one hand.

Sasuke quietly looked toward the menu while Naruto continued arguing with the chef about the size of his ramen portion.

For once, there was no Kakashi sitting nearby reading his book, no mission briefing, and no training.

Just the four members of Team 7, finally getting a peaceful meal together.

Well...

As peaceful as anything involving Naruto could possibly be!
