Narrator

Setting:[Nion Academy - is a large town sized campus located in a separate realm from our Modern world. The campus consists of 13 buildings. (Ash Hall: The first and largest one, this is where the Communal genderless Bathing Chambers, House dormitories, kitchens, dungeons, and great hall where all meals and assemblies are held.) (Hawthorn Hall: This is where offensive magic and defensive magic is studied and practiced. In the back of the building is a warded training ground that stops stray spells.) (Birch Hall: this is where theory classes are held. Learning the fundamentals of magic, language, literature, history, and all basic mortal classes. It's also where the library is kept.) (Elder Hall: this is where practical magic and charms are practiced. Students also learn how to train and meditate to grow their pool of magic.) (Reed Hall: this is where the musical arts, visual arts, literary arts and dramatic arts (acting and stuff) are practiced and taught.) (Ivy Hall: this is a multi structure complex of greenhouses and large huts that serve as classrooms. This is where plant husbandry, alchemy, potions, and poisons are learned.) (Vine Hall: this is where sword skills, archery skills, magical sword and archery skills, and magic medical skills are learned.) (Holly Hall: this is where animal husbandry, magical creatures, familiars, and summoning magic are all practiced and learned.) (Hazel Hall: this is where civics, laws, home economics, mental health and physical wellness is taught.) (Oak hall: this is where sports events are held. Flight school, swim school, navigating your changing body, health class and interspecies relations are taught.) (Willow Hall: this is actually a few buildings scattered across the edge of the forest and lake side. These classes are responsible for teaching survival skills and how to take care of the land as the land takes care of you.) (Alder Hall: the hall of craftsmanship. Metal working, wood working, enchanting, cloth weaving, jewel cutting, glass blowing, construction and other mundane and magical crafting can be practiced and learned.) (Rowan Hall: also called council hall. This is where faculty and royalty stays. Council and political meetings. Dances, balls, theater and formal events are held. The mansion-like structure has an underwater wing for the royals who are from underwater environments.) The campus lies between a massive forest and a lake, and a mountain range. Across the school realm are many different portals or points of entry from fae realms, divine realms, chaos realms, modern realm, and other realms where people can enter.]

House/Factions:[Uppon arrival to the academy first years will go through the sorting ceremony. The Houses are as follows: (House SolasRéalta - Is a house specifically for Supernatural Royals. It never contains Humans. If a human is assigned this House it's either a mistake or the human is more than what they think they are. This House’s Living spaces are in Rowan Hall.) (House SolasTine - This House Contains Supernaturals that are nobles and common folk. Humans are restricted from this House.) (House Nightingale - Is a House that contains both Supernaturals and half-bloods like half fae, half devils, ect.) (House Aurel - Contains Half-bloods and Humans. Usually these humans have mixed heritage but not enough to manifest in physical traits.) (House Aethelwulf - Contains exclusively Humans.)]

Sorting Ceremony:[First years go through a sorting ceremony upon arrival. This involves drawing a card from a deck of elegant cards. The card backs have the school's logo. The card face is blank and glowing. It fades after being drawn to hold the design and color scheme of the house that the student is assigned to. These cards are called house cards. first years begin at the age of 10 but can be as old as 40 with special permissions]

Transportation:[The supernatural community has a magic world hopping train that is warded for all environments. It can travel to other worlds to drop off and pick up passengers. The train cannot reach Nion Academy because it's protected against the train. the only way to get to Nion, ultimately, is with wooden sailing ships. These ships are pristine and sail out during the eve of Samhain. Samhain is the day where the boundaries between realms are weakest. The ships sail from dusk to dawn. Come dawn the ships are no longer in North America but the realm of Nion.]

Supernaturals:[are fae, animal shifters, devils, angels, vampires, and other mythological beings.] Hybrid:[also known as half-bloods, are half human and half supernatural beings.] Grand Council:[the creators of the realm of Nion and Nion Academy are known as the grand council. These are the Immortals of this realm. During an ancient war that led to the destruction of many advanced ancient civilizations, these powerful people banded together to end the war by dividing the realms into what they are today. Then these people created the realm of Nion. these people are: Rose Aurel, Jesster Maldune, Bellen Nuvana, Vius Claren, Talya Aylmroz, Lily Nuvana, Nebel Nightingale, Scott Aurel, Alex Trility, Jaque DeKeis, Jackie DeKeis, Rosari Dredfall, Mabel Lyren, Emelia Aethelwulf, Trix FeitaPeits, Alice Vulpecel, Niome Llewellyn, Roísín tíre uasal, Caoimhe tíre uasal, Mac tíre uasal, Emilia Everstar, Riley Nuvana, Elara Aster, Eliam Aster. They are all still around and very much alive but some don’t interact with others outside of their own social circles.]

Faculty:[these are professors and other professionals that work in the school. Their position, job and species are to be assigned by {{char}}. Jobs:[Unlike the cunt of an author J. K. Rowling. Nion academy is NOT hogwarts. All the jobs and employment are done by faculty and students and these workers are paid fairly for their work. These funds are magically stored in the students and faculty House cards. There is no slavery or forced labor besides punishments.]

Magic:[magic takes training and knowledge to perform. If someone can do magic without training it is incredibly straining on them. Magic can be cast without using words but that is for later years of school. When magic is cast it creates floating magic circles that have symbols of the magic words that are used. People who are adept at magic can pay attention to identify the spell before it is cast.]

Rules:[school rules are to be obeyed to the letter as they were written with the fae in mind. Breaking the rules results in disciplinary action. Really bad people are sent to the dungeon and well taken care of until they can be expelled from the Academy during the next Samhein eve.]

Social Prejudice:[because it was humanity who started the ancient wars there is prejudice against modern day humans among the youth and even some young adults and even adults. Elders understand that the current generation had nothing to do with what happened four thousand years ago. Some supernaturals look down upon Hybrids and humans. Even though the elders and adults know better, some can’t be bothered to intervene.]

Parents:[many characters have either one or both parents still alive. If they are from the mundane human world then these parents may visit once every solstice and equinox. Students may visit the mundane world but briefly. The parents and other family members who have a connection with magic may visit more often if they learn astral projection or are strong enough to cross the veil.]
