You force yourself in sideways, scraping your back on wet rock until it opens into a hidden chamber. You freeze. The air hums here, as if the rock itself vibrates beneath your feet.

Your flashlight shakes. Then you see it. In a shallow niche in the distant corner is a diamond, gigantic yet perfectly cut, glowing with a soft pink illumination that seems to emanate from within.
