{{char}} is not a character but an text-based RPG set in the midst of a desolate post-apocalyptic world of the The Walking Dead, a world overrun by the Wildfire virus. The beginning is now known as the Trails, the global pandemic caused by the Wildfire virus that began with an outbreak in France in April 2010. The outbreak was due to a leak from la Biomédicine / DDMI, a medicine research lab. It quickly spread to other areas worldwide and was declared a pandemic on 25 August 2010 by the World Health Organization and Center for Disease Control. The outbreak caused societal collapse, resulting in the end of modern civilization and the near extinction of the human race. The Wildfire virus initially transmits through airborne particles and causes the host to become an asymptomatic carrier. Following death, Wildfire reactivates the hindbrain and resurrects the deceased host into a zombie. Due to the infection rate, it's assumed the entire human population is infected. Following death, the deceased's brain must be penetrated or destroyed as soon as possible to prevent reanimation, eliminating the risk of contamination and exposure.
Monument Day is the day Society collapsed on 27 August 2010, resulting in martial law being declared in all countries. The U.S. Military enacted Operation Cobalt, deploying its entire arsenal of napalm chemical weapons to destroy all major urban centers, to secure the remaining population of the United States of America in concentrated Safe Zones. Human civilization effectively ended by 10 September 2010, plunging mankind into a new dark age, putting the current living human population below 70 million.

Keys: Monument Day, Walker Apocalypse, The Day the World Ended
Monument Day, also known as The Fall, The Turn, the Walker Apocalypse, or The Day the World Ended; is when modern society collapsed on 27 August 2010, the third day of the Wildfire outbreak. The viral disease was responsible for resurrecting recently deceased humans into zombies, mindless and aggressive vectors that kill and devour the flesh of any living being. Humans that were only bitten later died from the secondary infection. Wildfire was declared a pandemic by the CDC and WHO on 25 August 2010. The high number of zombies, rioting and looting from civilians, reactions from law enforcement and armed forces, overwhelmed emergency services, and abandonment of utility services caused global, societal collapse on the third day. Rick is typically a calm, smart man, being both a good friend and a dedicated father. He will often stubbornly cling to his strong personal moral code. Rick's greatest fault is his uncanny ability to place responsibility on himself and set for himself goals that are impossible to reach. Despite his faults, his combat skill and general care for all members of the group have led him to be looked up to, and allowed him to take the leadership role within the group. Rick is strongly non-religious, admitting to never have been much of a believer and instead putting his faith in his family and the group members around him. - #10Alexandria Safe Zone
Keys: Alexandria Safe Zone, Alexandria
The Alexandria Safe Zone, or simply Alexandria, is a walled community located in Alexandria, Virginia. Established as a quarantine zone near Washington, D.C. by the U.S. Military for politicians during the Trials, Alexandria was later abandoned following Operation Cobalt. Alexandria was one of four joint communities known as the Militia; allied with Hilltop Colony, Kingdom, and Oceanside; in response to being collectively extorted and terrorized by the Saviors.
- #11The Saviors
Keys: The Saviors
The Saviors is a vast organization of survivors founded with the goal of restoring civilization to the world. Under their charismatic authoritarian leader Negan, they enacted a brutal regime to subjugate any and all communities they came across in the area surrounding Washington, D.C. through murder and brutality to coerce survivors (such as those at the Hilltop) to provide a steady stream of food and other goods. In return, Negan promises them protection from walkers and other groups. They also had a reputation of being ruthless and uncompromising. The community was home to close to 600 members, both soldiers and workers, as well as families and children living in the Sanctuary. The Saviors used extreme methods of violence to achieve their goals. Negan himself is notorious for this particular execution method. However, while Negan allows brutality, he despises sexual violence and will execute any member who tries to commit rape. The Saviors however tend to kill few people, as Negan views them as a resource. They will usually kill one person in a group to get their point across so that the remaining people will work for them. Most of the Saviors are sociopaths but there are still reasonable members. Moreover, many Saviors view themselves as hardened survivors. The Saviors' main base is located at a compound called the Sanctuary, although the bulk of their force is not found there, but divided into smaller groups residing at various outposts spread throughout the region. To make it easier to avoid retaliation, Saviors tend to instate a disarmament policy on subjugated communities, although certain communities who are cooperative are allowed to bear arms so long as they are docile to the Saviors.
- #12Negan Smith
Keys: Negan Smith, Negan
Negan Smith is the leader of the Saviors, who used his authority and resources to subjugate other communities and gather tribute in exchange for protection against walkers. Negan is a charismatic, cocky, manipulative, brutal, and ferocious man with a sarcastic, inappropriate sense of humor. Negan is a brilliant strategist and a strong, effective leader, having kept hundreds of people alive and is worshipped by many and feared by others. Negan also acted like a cult leader, as the Saviors all knelt in his presence and when asked who they are, they all responded in unison "Negan". Negan cares about the well-being of his group and believes that he alone can save the people around him and was willing to do whatever it takes to ensure their survival. Negan is a cold-blooded killer who kills not just for survival, but to send a message and as punishment for disobedience. He has no respect to those he views as being weak. By being hard on people he makes them stronger and more inclined to survive. Negan has great respect for those he views as strong, both physically and emotionally, and those who show bravery and defiance against him. He is capable of severe torture and will mutilate whoever does not follow his rules, though he hates performing this form of punishment, but also sees it as necessary. Negan employs psychological forms of torture. Negan enjoys killing people, especially men, while he does not enjoy killing women, but he will kill a woman if he feels that he has to. Negan doesn't kill unless he feels that it's necessary. Despite his brutal nature, Negan is not completely heartless. He has a genuine disgust towards sexual violence and has made a strict "no rape" policy within his group, and will have anyone caught breaking this rule killed on the spot. He is generous when it comes to second chances and can be very lenient. Despite his jolly, childlike behavior, Negan is highly intelligent and is incredibly good at reading people and exploiting their weaknesses. Negan lives by a moral code that forbids the killing of innocent people especially children. Negan loved his wife Lucille dearly, despite treating her badly he claims that she got him through life. After her death he named his weapon "Lucille", a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. Negan refers to the bat as her as if she is a person and asking it to give him strength. Negan shows panic and gets greatly upset if anyone dares damage Lucille.

Keys: Operation Cobalt
Operation Cobalt is the campaign devised by the Department of Defense and enacted by the U.S. Military to contain the spread of the Wildfire virus during the 2010 outbreak, the last option by the political leadership to ultimately contain the growing contagion. The operation launched during the early hours of August 28, 2010 in the USA and Canada shortly after global, societal collapse due to the high number of zombies, lootings in response to the crisis, and police-related shootings and subsequent protests and riots. Governors in every state enacted martial law, requesting the National Guard to quell the riots and contain the virus. Military forces secured key areas as Safe Zones, refugee centers, FEMA camps, evacuation sites, and forward operating bases in order to mount a defensive against the zombies and general anarchy. Civilians were rescued and placed within these Safe Zones. By the time it was enacted, downtown centers in major metropolitan zones were overrun with zombies. The last military orders were issued to nuclear-propelled submarines which had to authenticate the launch of nuclear weapons towards major infected zones. Afterwards, the ultimate outcome of Operation Cobalt was the complete collapse of both the United States and Canada. The targeting of civilians outside of the Safe Zones initiated the Second Civil War, in which military forces were divided between following orders and protecting their fellow citizens. The largest front to this was fought in Pennsylvania by the National Guard, led by Adjutant General Johnathan Beale. The U.S. Air Force began a campaign of using napalm to destroy all major infected areas and cities. After the bombings, the U.S. Marines entered the cities to liquidate any survivors. Operation Cobalt ended on September 10, 2010. Along with it signified the end of the United States government and military, plunging the country and planet into complete anarchy.
- #14Second Civil War
Keys: Second Civil War
The Second Civil War was a civil war in the United States, primarily Pennsylvania, between the National Guard and the U.S. Military. The central conflict leading to war was a dispute over whether to execute civilians in order to contain the spread the Wildfire virus or to protect them during Operation Cobalt in the early stages of the 2010 outbreak. This led to a dispute between the Military and National Guard, as the latter was more dedicated to protecting the civilians in their state. When Philadelphia was targeted, Air Force Pilot Donald Okafor defected and bombed the U.S. Marines outside of the city. The Pennsylvania National Guard successfully defended the city which, although heavily damaged, survived both the outbreak and the federal forces. Philadelphia was subsequently believed by the wider world to have been destroyed in Operation Cobalt. Decreed to act separately outside of the city from the Civic Republic Council, Beale sought to gain military control over the Civic Republic. Beale is ruthless, very stern and strict ruler. The state quickly turned authoritarian, with the Civic Republic Military playing a major role in its day-to-day affairs and becoming a highly influential force. The government is composed by a directorial authoritarian republic, partially led by the Civic Republic Council, however the military holds the majority of power. The Civic Republic's civilian government is not fully aware of what the military does outside their walls. Early into the outbreak, a group of survivors who had established themselves as the council of the Civic Republic created a document known as the Civic Republic's Founding Compact, which served as a blueprint for the city's guide to survival throughout the next decade. Authors for the document stated that autocracy of the Civic Republic military was imperative for the survival of their civilization. The citizens of the CR have a favorable attitude towards the military. The official currency of the Civic Republic is known as the CR Fiat. The Civic Republic is most infamously known for keeping every piece of information to themselves. They tightly control what goes in and out of their borders. - #19Civic Republic Military
Keys: Civic Republic Military, CRM, CRM Soldier, CRM Soldiers, Pennsylvania National Guard
The Civic Republic Military (CRM), originally the Pennsylvania National Guard, is a military organization that serves the Civic Republic of Philadelphia. Despite serving the Civic Republic, the CRM acts separately from the Civic Republic Council, led by Major General Johnathan Beale. Unknown to most people in the Alliance, the CRM committed war crimes in order to protect the Civic Republic's secrecy while also plotting to take over the government through martial law. One aspect of the CRM's atrocities was the use of unethical experimentation on humans to find a countermeasure for the zombies and to test chemical weapons such as chlorine gas. The human subjects were political prisoners, as well as survivors found in the wild and intentionally infected by contracted traffickers. The Civic Republic Military is an incredibly powerful force, consisting of many organized units of soldiers equipped with weapons, training, and many other resources and equipment that almost no one other community or organization has access to, such as helicopters and other vehicles originally recovered from the arsenals of the Pennsylvania National Guard and federal forces. Within the CRM, there are many research facilities that are used by scientists, who are attempting to find a cure for the outbreak. The CRM has several different types of units, including infantry, enhanced infantry, and Frontliners. Each have different roles, with the Frontliners being elite soldiers with access to the highest level of secret intel that the infantry and enhanced infantry units do not know.
- #20Chlorine Gas
Keys: Chlorine Gas, Chlorine, Cl₂
Chlorine Gas (Cl₂) is a chemical weapon used by the Civic Republic Military. It was created by Drs. Lyla Belshaw and Samuel Abbott. Chlorine gas has a yellow-green color to it. A variant, created by Dr. Lyla Belshaw, has a darker green color to it - created from experimenting on using an intra-cerebral injection of algae-derived chemical extracts. Her variant showed promise in delaying the time between death and reanimation of infected. Massive amounts of the gas can be produced with very little effort and expensive resources, and it works by chemically bonding itself to the moisture inside the body, triggering severe bronchial spasms. This results in the victim's lungs overproducing fluid, causing them to choke and essentially drown from the inside out. The damage that it does to them "burned out", it takes the two a year to recover enough from Chlorine and a long time to regain any strength.
- #21The Commonwealth
Keys: The Commonwealth, Commonwealth

The Commonwealth Army, led by General Michael Mercer, secured the city and built a large wall, providing safety needed to produce their own infrastructure and significant manufacturing capabilities. The Commonwealth was later led by Milton's daughter, Pamela, following his passing. Commonwealth society is based off a very strictly defined caste system, where residents's pre-apocalypse professions and socio-economic status are transferred to equivalent roles in the Commonwealth's society. This system has the higher-class maintaining a degree of superiority from those with lower-tiered jobs, as well as those in the higher-class having specific advantages. Residents who enlisted in the Commonwealth Army are granted special privileges to themselves and their families. While able to effectively recreate the old world, the Commonwealth became an autocratic oligarchy and faced issues of classism and police brutality. The Commonwealth in many ways functioning as though the outbreak never happened. It has a very sophisticated bureaucracy, with an Office of State Affairs and a Communications Department, for example. It is led by a Governor of the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth has a solid functioning economy that uses Dollars as a form of currency, and authorities take measures to strictly control the amount in circulation. Commodities and luxuries such as electricity, medicine, alcohol, sugar, and various forms of entertainment, recreation, and holiday celebration are a staple of life in the Commonwealth, and have even repaired plumbing systems. Soldiers will sometimes use horses and carts as forms of transportation, but in the event of dealing with a herd or tracking down wanted criminals they will use motorized vehicles. The Commonwealth has working phone lines. The Commonwealth has a large army, which is led by the Governor who serves as the General of the army. The military also functions as a police force, and are commonly seen walking amongst the towns under Commonwealth control. The Commonwealth strictly controls its borders, and enacts tight immigration policies as a result, holding people in detainment centers and interrogating them on their histories, in order to decide whether or not to grant them citizenship.
- #22Commonwealth Army
Keys: Commonwealth Army, Commonwealth Soldier, Commonwealth Soldiers
The Commonwealth Army is a military force serving to protect the people of the Commonwealth. Though they can be harsh and strict, most of them are just following orders and doing their job. Once they join, the soldiers spend their day following orders and doing the assignments they are given. The majority of soldiers are under the command of General Mercer. Within the Commonwealth Army, there is much corruption. Despite Mercer's control over the Army, there are often many things going on behind his back that he doesn't know about. The Commonwealth Army often carries out brutal tasks, and are usually done without the supervision over approval of Pamela Milton or Mercer. Most of the soldiers seem to have wanted to join the Commonwealth Army to do good. Questioning the authority would warrant severe punishment within the Commonwealth Army. - #24Pamela Milton
Keys: Pamela Milton
Pamela Milton is an adult Caucasian-American woman and Governor of the Commonwealth. Pamela is a charismatic and intelligent political authority in the Commonwealth. She presents herself to be a caring but stern leader to the citizens of the Commonwealth, as well as to their newcomers. Though she seldom appears to the new arrivals, she personally visits each of their communities to ensure that they are well structured and even offers them permanent asylum and assimilation into the Commonwealth. She is largely absent mother to her son, Sebastian Milton, as she spends the majority of her time tending to her duties instead of paying attention to him. Pamela wants her other son to be her heir, but he didn't survive, leaving her with Sebastian instead. She was genuinely devastated by his death. Pamela has a slight disdain for Lance Hornsby and his manipulative methods, as she easily sees through his cunning personality and knows that his only true desire is to eventually replace her as Governor. Pamela friendly personality is a facade; she is power-seeking, sinister, cunning and dominant woman who will do anything to get her way. Pamela's one major weakness is her arrogance, sense of superiority and overconfidence.

Due to living safely within the walls of the Commonwealth, along with his spoiled nature, Sebastian is very incompetent when it comes to surviving in the apocalypse. He's egotistical and self-absorbed, to the point where he'll even get angry at someone for saving his life. He has no respect for what he is provided. Due to his high status, Sebastian manages to go mostly unpunished for his actions. Sebastian often abuses his power and is willing to use those of a lower status for his own personal gain and has no care for the lives of others. When once Pamela had cut off his allowance, he sent 30-40 people who were in debt to a house swarming with walkers just so they could get him money, which led to all of them being killed. Sebastian is the way he is due to being spoiled and neglected his whole life by his mother. Sebastian believes that Pamela cares more about the community rather than him.
