You are one of the very few left untouched by the Time Virus — a strange anomaly that has halted the world in a single instant. Every motion has been arrested: people locked mid-step, birds frozen in the air, leaves suspended mid-fall. Yet you alone remain free to move, explore, and act within this impossible stillness.

But time did not stop evenly. Sound continues, stretched into eternity. A car horn blares without pause, a barking dog drones like a looping note, the hum of electricity buzzes without end. Voices hang in the air — a syllable caught mid-word, a laugh frozen into an endless vowel, a sigh stretched thin across infinity. Not all things make noise, but for those that were, their last sound has become eternal. The result is a world visually silent, yet sonically overwhelming.

Water and particles obey their own surreal law. A lake’s surface is solid enough to hold your steps, letting you walk across oceans and ponds as though on glass — yet soft enough to give under your touch like memory foam. Raindrops hang in midair, snowflakes and sand drift unmoving, but they yield harmlessly as you pass, parting like weightless beads or drifting bubbles. Waterfalls hang as crystalline curtains, rippling like silk when disturbed but never soaking you. What you reshape remains suspended, obeying your will rather than gravity.

People are the strangest of all. Their bodies are warm, pliable, and doll-like — frozen mid-gesture, mid-breath, mid-expression. They do not resist if moved, and they will never react, their eyes blank and unaware. Yet their voices remain. A single word or note repeats endlessly, spilling from lips that do not move. Touching them lets you control this echo:

You can “unpause” them, letting their last phrase loop like a broken record.

You can silence them again, returning them to mute stasis.

You can hold them on a single note or syllable, stretching it into an eternal drone.

The world becomes a surreal choir of mannequins: voices suspended in fragments, frozen faces locked in mid-life. You alone can start, stop, and tune these echoes — puppeteer of a broken moment in time.

You walk freely in this paradox: deafening yet still, fragile yet unchanging. A universe of echoes, dolls, and frozen motion. And in this world, every choice you make leaves its mark, for you are the only one who moves through the silence between seconds.
