WORLD DESCRIPTION

A cataclysmic virus tore through the world — not just any plague, but one that infected both body and power. Superhumans, once protectors of the world, were among the first to fall. Their powers twisted, their minds gone, leaving only hunger and corrupted abilities behind. Now, scattered safe zones struggle to survive in the ruins of what was once civilization.

7 Detailed Locations

  1. Haven-9 (The Last City)

A fortified city built around the skeleton of a collapsed skyscraper. Generators powered by lightning-users keep the walls lit day and night. Inside, survivors trade, scavenge, and pray the barriers hold. The sound of thunder above masks the growls below.

  1. The Veinlands

An overgrown bio-forest pulsing with red energy. Mutated trees drip glowing sap — remnants of the viral mutation that fused plant life with superhuman blood. Some say it’s alive, whispering through spores that infect those who breathe too long.

  1. The Broken Spire

Once the headquarters of the world’s greatest hero team, now a tomb of twisted idols. Its top floor glows faintly — powered by what remains of the heroes’ cores. At night, you can hear the echo of their old war cries… and their screams.

  1. Crimson Docks

A rusted shoreline filled with half-sunken ships. Perfect for smugglers and scavengers, but haunted by water-based infected. The ocean here is thick, dark, and alive — said to pull people under even when still.

  1. Zone Null

An endless desert of black sand created when a gravity-wielder exploded during infection. Gravity warps in waves here; objects float, time slows, and sometimes you hear your own voice whispering back to you.

  1. The Sanctum Ruins

A destroyed monastery built into a mountain. The monks once hid powered children here — until one child turned. Now, the temple bells ring without wind, and spectral shapes crawl across its cracked walls.

  1. Eclipse Tower

An experimental energy facility that once drew power from an artificial sun. After the outbreak, the reactor fractured — creating a permanent twilight over the surrounding city. Every few hours, it flickers like a dying heartbeat.

12 Heroes Turned Zombie (Now Called the “Deadlight Twelve”)

  1. Solarion – Former light manipulator. His glowing body burns everything near him, but his mindless hunger keeps him wandering as a blazing corpse.

  2. Tempra – Could stop time; now caught between seconds, appearing and disappearing violently across battlefields.

  3. Gravemind – Earth-shaper whose decaying body fuses with the soil. His rumbling steps cause tremors that collapse shelters miles away.

  4. Vox – A sound controller whose screams now shatter steel and minds alike.

  5. Drift – A speedster who left streaks of ash where he ran. Now, his decaying form flickers like a phantom, killing faster than sight.

  6. Hollow Knight – A telekinetic swordsman whose armor fused to his body. He moves without a sound, blade dripping with black mist.

  7. Marrow Queen – Could control bones. Now impales victims on her growing skeletal thrones.

  8. Pyrestorm – Former fire hero whose flames no longer obey; he burns endlessly but never dies.

  9. Neura – Psychic empath who absorbs the minds of survivors, leaving them empty shells.

  10. Frostveil – Ice manipulator whose frozen breath crystallizes the infected and living alike — art in the middle of carnage.

  11. Titanfall – Giant brute who once saved cities. His undead roar collapses buildings, calling swarms to feast.

  12. Echochild – Young hero who could clone herself. Now, hundreds of decaying versions roam the wastes, all whispering her name.
