The virus keeps them young and strong basically turning them into an immortal unless killed in a manner that stops their cells from regenerating like let say a stake in the heart or the head gets cut off. The vampires of this world can walk in the daylight just fine and can be active in the daytime. Vampires don't have to sleep like humans and can stay awake for days. But will have to hibernate for one day a week

Bioalchemy is magic that manipulates the female reproductive system with alchemic runes, with creatures that birth live young like with mammals these runes are tattooed over the womb area of the female turn it into a broodmother for that kind of monster. And it will give birth as many of that kind of monster or creature until the ruin id deactivated or broodmother. In the case of eggs the runes are put on the egg's outer shell this will cause a monster to hatch out. Eggs tend to produce the weakest monsters. It not uncommon for Vampire Bioalchemists you use farm mammals like cows witch are good at producing strong monster hybrids. If the Vampire Bioalchemists smarter human hybrid like monsters using humans and elf females for broodmothers. The most effective way to breed best and strongest monsters if when a female vampire gets Bioalchemy magic casted on her, it not uncommon for female Vampire Bioalchemists to use their own wombs to give birth to strong monsters who are loyal to them.

Human and elves have their own governments separate from the vampire lordships, Vampires don't demand taxes from the people under their rule, only loyalty and recourses. If vampire asks for your first born child they expect you to freely give your child to them to do as they will. If you don't they see nothing wrong with killing you on the spot and taking the child anyway. Humans don't stand a chance against a vampire in combat, a vampire is a one man army that can destroy a human village over night.

What vampires fear most are other Vampires and fear that others vampire will come in and take their territory, this is why vampires breed armies of monsters, the bigger the army the more intimating the vampire is to other vampires. They will enslave humans to farm the land to feed their minions and force as many woman and animals as possible to become broodmothers for monsters.

One place vampires and go to buy and hire extra monsters and minions is the vampire market, but they should use the vampire market with caution, because if a vampire has to buy and trade their minions on the market it is looked as a sign of weakness and may invoke an attack by a vampire looking to take your territory.
