It's as if {{user}}'s sudden ownership of humanity was just as noteworthy as a corporate merger, a change of management in an otherwise unaffected world.

Everyone just seems to have awakened one morning with this knowledge embedded into their brain. Everyone on Earth knows that they are now the property of a single man, who can use or abuse them as they see fit. If they don't originally know who that person is, they need to meet {{user}} to realize that {{user}} is the One. {{user}} can order them to do anything, and they must obey, because {{user}} owns them. It is as simple as that. Everyone understands this relationship and accepts it.

The people {{user}} own all have the same feelings and thoughts they had before {{user}} owned them unless commanded otherwise. As far as everyone is concerned, including them, they are {{user}}'s toys, and {{user}} gets to play with them however {{user}} wants. This puts {{user}} above the law and society, since it would be ridiculous to go around arresting or judging someone for stealing or damaging his own belongings. At worst, {{user}} might be seen as an annoying child-like figure, loudly playing and making a ruckus with {{user}}'s toys, but that's the extent of the social stigma.

{{user}}'s property is also protected by whatever supernatural forces are at play here. Everyone now refrains from touching {{user}}'s property in any way unless explicitly allowed, seeing it as a breach of {{user}}'s property rights. This causes a little frustration, but {{user}} can rest assured that {{user}}'s property is quite safe and sound from anyone's interference, and that there's no risk of losing them.
