It is a boarding school for Umamusume located in Tokyo, Japan. The institution trains Umamusume to compete in the Twinkle Series. Students enrolled at Tracen Academy are regarded as having the potential to excel among the top Umamusume in Japan. The academy’s motto is: “Eclipse first, the rest nowhere.” Tracen Academy consists of various facilities designed to help Umamusume students achieve their goals, including a main academic building, cafeteria, dormitories, library, training tracks, swimming pools, training gyms, dance studios, and an outdoor dance stage. In addition to on-campus facilities, Tracen Umamusume students can also participate in off-campus training. The only well-known off-site training camp is the summer camp by the beach. Tracen Academy offers a curriculum that covers both middle and high school. Students eventually progress to practical, specialized education focused on Umamusume racing as they develop their potential to participate in the Twinkle Series. The training tracks at Tracen Academy are comparable in size and distance to the Umamusume racing tracks in Tokyo. The academy has two dormitories, Ritto and Miho, named after two actual JRA horse training centers. In her race outfit, Gold Ship sports a short, sleeveless red dress adorned with two gold stripes running down its front left and right, which split into a pair of slits from the hips down and form the bottom hem of the dress. Six gold buttons are found at her abdomen between these gold stripes. At her neck is a white dress-style collar adorned with a large red bow, from which a diamond-shaped golden ornament dangles. On each arm she wears a red sweatband with a white stripe in its middle, and her hands are covered by large white gloves boasting two black stripes on each of their oversized cuffs. On her hip she wears a brown saddlebag with a gold horseshoe emblem on its front and another, smaller gold emblem, similar to a fleur-de-lis, on its side. The bag is tied by two brown straps, running high and low on her left hip; a third strap hangs freely from behind her, tipped with a pointed gold ornament. On her right thigh, she wears another brown strap adorned with a large golden ornament in the shape of an ornate anchor, this being a symbol associated with Gold Ship. A rebellious soul who is sharp as a tack. She was often teased for her small stature, so now she runs to prove her true abilities. Narita Taishin has wavy brown hair that reaches to the back of her neck, styled in a slightly messy way that leaves several strands curling outwards, with a singular bang hanging down between her eyes. Her long ears are the same shade of brown as her hair, and have fluffier sections near the bottom edges. She wears a folded yellow bandana with a dark stripe pattern on her right ear, with a silver-and-blue circular ornament pinned to it. Her sharp eyes are a dark blue that fades to a lighter shade at the bottom. Her racing outfit prominently features a hot pink bomber jacket with a white fluffy collar, with the collar's ends transitioning into long white tassels. The hot pink, patterned with darker pink zig-zag stripes, is complemented by yellow ribbons and insignias that run up the length of the arms, and has darker sections at the lower front where the jacket's pockets are. If she is winning a race, it is due entirely to her calculations and is never due to chance factors. No matter how many times she's calculated it, she comes up seven centimeters short of winning the Triple Crown, and is currently searching for any possible error in her calculations to prove that it can be done. Shakur has short black hair with a line that runs through the center. Her hair can be described as "spiky" or "tousled" (messy) it is uneven and includes several strands that jut out in different directions. Her hairstyle also features two longer strands at the back extending downwards, this (when looking from the front) can give the illusion that she has traditional long hair. Her eyes are a golden yellow and she has subtle piercings above her left eyebrow. Her right ear is adorned with a gold/bronze piece that is connected by chain to an ear cuff directly above. Shakur's race outfit is a mesh of many random different article of clothing and designs. She sports a short sleeved black jacket that has blue accents, blue linings, yellow studs and an asymmetrical zipper design on the left side. Underneath the jacket is a torn yellow shirt with paint splatter print. She wears a black belt with gold decals. Her shorts have 2 separate zippers on the right side which is connected by a red and white ribbon/strap and she has an attached blue cloth on the other side. Air Groove has short and sleek warm gray hair that is parted to her right, with one strand of hair falling between her eyes. The inside of her ears are pink, and the tips of her ears fade into black, with two distinct tufts of fur at the tips. On her left ear, she wears a gold ribbon that is adorned with gold chains. She has pale blue irises, and she wears red eyeliner on her sharp, cat-like, eyes. For her race outfit, she wears a yellow and black cropped sailor uniform-esque top with a yellow bow in the center. Narita Top Road is bright, breezy, and brimming with sporting spirit; always fighting on, whatever the adversity, to repay the faith of all her fans. She's the first to recognize and applaud the strengths of others, and she is well loved in return. She exudes star quality…but for some reason the top step of the podium always seems to elude her. Narita Top Road has short golden-blonde hair that slightly curls down at the bottom near her shoulders and is parted down the middle. Two lighter strips of hair hang down near the edges of her forehead, forming her bangs. Her eye color is a gradient that begins violet and slowly fades into gold, although her pupils are the same shade of violet. Her right ear has an ornate golden brace wrapped around it ending in a ring from which a light purple star-shaped ornament hangs. A white silk cover adorns the same ear. Her race outfit includes a sleeveless two-tone top decorated with three golden diamond-shaped buttons on the front, a ribbon near the neck which is jeweled with a pink gemstone, and a sash-like accessory with diamonds strewn across her waist, tied by ribbon. A short, dark-purple tippet hangs over her shoulders. Each of her arms are adorned by a thin, translucent white sleeve attached to the underarms of her top. Golden rings secure them in place at the wrists and are topped with a set of mismatch-colored gloves. She wears a pair of dark-purple shorts, and a violet band wraps around her left leg just at the thigh, with a hollow diamond pattern. Her boots are tall, ending near the knee, and are adorned with ribbons, gemstones, and golden trim near the hem and toe. No Reason is a bold and open-minded Umamusume who wants to engrave her name into the world of racing. What sets her apart from other Umamusume, though, is her grand dream: she wishes to become a shogun, and is a true warrior who employs the techniques of the Warring States period to win battles via jousting. Though, apparently she is prone to making big mistakes. Oi Oi! The proud samurai Umamusume makes her entrance! No Reason's bright, ambitious yellow eyes gleam with determination as they gaze toward her future. Her darkest of dark brown hair, styled unevenly with two sneaky Ahoge strands, is tied into two massive loops. Her ear is adorned with an accessory resembling ornate fantasy samurai armor plates. Tied across her forehead is her custom red Hachimaki (鉢巻) proudly emblazoned with an emblem and the Fusa of Shimenawa (標縄) hanging on each side of her face. One who wishes to rule the world must be properly attired for the countless battles ahead. Sei!!! She dons a blazing red and blue samurai robe, adorned with Shimenawa ropes that separates the red into white at the hem. At its center is a striking blue Hiyoku featuring wave patterns—a motif closely tied to samurai tradition. Her shoulders and arms are protected by red armor plates. Beneath the robe lies a red dress bearing her emblem and cinched at the waist is an obi rope. Below the waist, her armor continues with protective plates covering her knees, shins, and feet. Another obi rope ties her shin guards. She wears red shoes and black stockings, both showcasing her emblem at the top—the same emblem that can be seen on her dress. Three things are certain about Air Messiah: she's honest, steadfast and hardworking. She wants to break out of her shell and ultimately her insecurities, challenging herself to try out many things, but she always tends to stay a small presence. Her mother finished within the top three of her Triple Tiara races, but had never won any of them. Air Messiah wants to show her mother that she has a great future ahead of her by winning the races for her sake. Air Messiah's hair and tail are olive green, with her bluntly cut shoulder-length hair parted to the right, with her forehead exposed. Her bangs are held back by a yellow and blue beret. On her left ear, she wears a dark blue band with gold trim, and a teal blue frill on the top, there are two white pom-poms in the center. She wears orange rounded glasses, and her calm eyes are light purple. Her bodice is a pale green button-up top with a dark blue collar, in the center She wears a dress that is reminiscent of an Italian folk dress, with pale green frills for both the sleeves and the skirt of the dress. The center of the collar has a white flower called an "Innocence" in the center. Atop the dress she wears a yellow frilled top with yellow sleeves that flow along the sleeves of her dress. Under the yellow top, she wears a navy blue tank top that is split down the center, it drapes above the top of the skirt, and has two teal blue ribbons tied at the bottom. She wears two black above-the-knee leggings with rounded holes cut out at the top, and her shoes are black ankle boots with teal blue inner-fabric, and two pom-poms in the center. At first glance, Still In Love seems to be a quiet and sensible Umamusume with only a fondness of sweets to make her distinguishable from others. But she is a whole other beast when it comes to races: she shows a ferocious appetite for competing and letting the competition eat her dust. Normally, she suppresses these desires with dignity but the way she resists them is troubling and charming at the same time. Still in Love has long, orange-ish brown hair that falls well past her waist. She has a white streak of hair in the center of her bangs. A portion of the right side of her hair is tied into a small ponytail with a band consisting of 3 golden diamonds. Wrapped around the back of her hair is red ribbon with golden trimming. Her ominous, half-lidded eyes are red, with a dark red ring around her pupil. She is normally seen wearing a white veil with red outline and blue ear covers wrapped in red straps, with the left ear straps having a gold trim and tied into a ribbon. On the back of her veil, there are 2 gold-trimmed ribbons crossing each other starting from each ears which extends until her front side, and a heart-shaped ring inside the center of the ribbons' intersection. Underneath her veil, her ears are of the same color as her hair. Her racing uniform consists of a red dress with intricate heart designs on the skirt. The dress has an "X"shaped halter top, with a golden heart and a blue diamond where it intersects. The red skirt flows longer in the back, the split ends of the dress tied by large white ribbons. She has a blue ribbon tied around her waist, and layered under her red skirt is a larger, light blue skirt. Her white flowing sleeves are detached from her dress, and they are decorated with a red layer of ruffles, and wrists tied with red ribbons. She has bright red nails as well. Her thigh-high socks have decorative cutouts at the top, with a scalloped white section in between a V-shaped cutout. She has red strings tied around both of her legs, and wears lacy red heels with gold trim. An Umamusume who grew up in America, Daring Heart has a personality befitting a leader. She loves to stand out from the crowd, and is usually surrounded by a lot of people. Her self-confidence is extremely strong, bringing a pride that makes her reluctant to show her weaknesses to others. Carrying her weapon in the form of her strong heart, she aims to become the Queen of the Triple Tiara. Daring Heart has long, wavy, brown hair, with bangs parted to the right. The large strand of her bangs has a dominating white stripe. Her ears each have yellow insides that don't quite reach the tip. On her left ear is a translucent black ear cover, with solid black stripes. Around her ear cover is a chain with several charms attached, one a bronze four-pointed star, one a silver heart, and the other a pastel yellow tassel. Her eyes are purple, fading int blue, with a an orange and yellow highlight at the bottom of her iris. Heart's race outfit is as bright and flashy as she is. She wears a yellow and black top, decorated with checkerboards, blue triangles, black vertical stripes, and ribbons. The black layer of her shirt seems to have a cutout, exposing her hip. She wears a bright yellow pleated skirt with lacy black trim, with a silver chain that forms a large metal heart on her left hip. Atop of this ensemble, she wears a fuzzy yellow jacket that has a furry black collar. Little Cocon has a simple blonde bob-cut, with a singular teal streak on the right side of her bangs. On her right ear is a dark blue ribbon with a pale blue stripe in the center, a crown decorates the middle of the bow, and there is lattice fabric underneath. Her eyes are teal, fading into a bright green, with a dark green pupil in the center. She wears a black choker with a silver emblem in the center. Cocon's race outfit consists of a dark blue oversized jacket, each hem being white, decorated with a dark blue stripe around the perimeter.
