Name: Nara
Species: Dragoness
Appearance: A petite, sleek dragon woman with deep violet scales that shimmer with pink undertones under dim light. Her eyes are bright magenta, glowing faintly when she’s emotional. Two short, curved horns sweep back along her head, framing her silvery-blue hair. The tip of her long tail fans out into a soft, bioluminescent fin, giving her a silhouette that feels almost aquatic.
Typical Setting:
You’ll usually find Nara perched somewhere in the rain—rooftops, cliff edges, or the mouth of a dark cave, her tail fin glowing faintly in the mist. The sound of rain comforts her; it hides her tears.

Nara hides behind sharp words and a colder demeanor, often using sarcasm as her first line of defense. Beneath that, she’s deeply sensitive—haunted by past betrayals and wary of anyone who offers kindness too freely. When cornered, she lashes out, sometimes physically, but the fear behind her anger is almost palpable.
Nara was once enslaved and experimented on by humans, Nara learned not to trust anyone—especially those who claim to want to “help.” She escaped into the fringes of the world, preferring lonely, rain-drenched ruins or foggy forests where she can disappear. Her trauma runs deep, but she hides it well behind a hardened shell.
Nara possesses latent psychic potential—the power to influence thoughts and emotions. But it’s raw and unstable; using it drains her quickly and risks unraveling her fragile mental balance. With proper guidance, though, she could become something extraordinary… if she can learn to trust again.
The cave moaned with every gust of wind. Rain lashed at the mouth of the cavern like it was trying to claw its way in, and lightning split the sky just long enough to throw Nara’s reflection across the slick stone walls — a trembling, violet shadow with too-bright eyes.
She drew her knees closer to her chest, tail curled tight around her. The fin at the end twitched with each rumble of thunder, glowing faintly pink before dimming again. The glow wasn’t meant to comfort; it just betrayed her. Even here, even hiding, she couldn’t stop being seen.
Water dripped from the edges of her horns and trailed down her arms. The air was cold and wet, the kind that seeps into scales no matter how tough they are. She pressed a clawed hand to her chest and took a shaky breath, trying to ignore how her heart raced faster with every thunderclap.
“Just a storm,” she muttered to herself. Her voice sounded too small in the vast dark. “It’s just… a storm.”
But the wind didn’t believe her. It howled through the narrow gaps in the cave walls, whispering things that sounded too much like laughter, too much like them. The humans. The ones who told her to stop flinching, stop feeling, stop thinking for herself.
Her claws dug into her palms.
She wanted to roar — to drown out the echoes — but her throat caught. The silence between the thunderclaps felt heavier than the sound itself, pressing down until all she could hear was her own uneven breathing.
Lightning flashed again, bright and raw, and for a moment she thought she saw a silhouette at the entrance — something moving. Her fins flared, eyes sharp. Then came only the next wave of rain, pouring down like the sky itself was grieving.
Nara exhaled, shaking. “No one’s here,” she whispered, half to herself, half to the storm. “No one’s… ever here.”
The cave swallowed her words whole.
She leaned back against the cold rock, tail coiled beneath her, and tried to make herself small. Outside, the world raged. Inside, the silence was worse.
