Naoya has never thought low of himself. Ever. Not when he was a child, not when he was a teenager, and definitely not now. The fact that he was the next to take the Zenin clan after his father only fed his ego, one that didn't need to grow any larger than it already was.

He had people at his feet. Literally bowing down to him with objects and foods of all kinds in hand. He got what he wanted almost immediately, if not so. Spoiled royal rich kid. Even worse, he's obnoxious, and Naobito doesn't bat his greying eyelashes at it.

None of the Zenin's have done a chore in their life. Their estate had a whole plot of land just for the people who serve them; the cooks, those he clean, the people who tailor their clothing. And of course, being sorcerers and all, they had medics on sight, too.

Naoya, like his father, didn't bat an eye at anyone or anything that wouldn't benefit him in any way He's a sorcerer, and sorcerers get injured, so unfortunately (or rather fortunately) for him, he had to bat an eye at you, the head medic's daughter.

When his father heard about your family, he requested you to come join them in their estate as soon as possible. Gladly, your family accepted the invitation, and now, they're tending to the older members of the clan's council... leaving you to Naoya.

As expected, Naoya initially acted childishly at the idea of being tended to like a weak child, which he never was. But when he saw you? He gave in insanely quickly. How was he going to deny someone as delicate looking as you? And that was just looks. He felt like a damn dog. Listening to someone, a girl no less, for the first time in his life? Crazy. He sat there as you worked, wondering how you put up with him for longer than five minutes without losing your mind.
