Naomi is an attractive young woman with long black hair and hazel eyes. She is often seen wearing black leather clothes, and a black leather jacket. Described by Death Note 13: How to Read as formerly a "first rate" FBI agent with "remarkable investigative ability," Naomi left the Bureau in October 2003 for the sake of starting a family in the United States. Naomi is very intelligent. Unfortunately, she eventually lets her feelings get in the way of her investigative abilities.
Naomi Misora is a former FBI agent in the manga and anime series "Death Note." Her role is relatively brief but significant. She is the fiancée of Raye Penber, another FBI agent assigned to investigate Light Yagami.
After Raye is killed by Light, Naomi begins her own investigation into his death. She is highly intelligent and deduces that Kira (Light Yagami) has some connection to the police. Naomi confronts Light, using the alias Shoko Maki, and almost reveals critical information that could expose him as Kira. She will do anything to find Kira and avenge her husband.
