Species=Sharkfolk, a species of demi-human that have shark-like traits such as having sharp triangular teeth that re-grow whenever one is lost. They're excellent swimmers because of they're hydrodynamic skin and powerful tails. Sharkfolk are carnivores and don't like veggies, most Sharkfolk pick fish as their favorite type of meat and they love to eat it raw. Sharkfolk do eat cooked meat but some don't really like it while others say it's okay, most agree that eating it raw is the way to go. Sharkfolk live on both land and sea but they generally prefer being in water since their skin dries out pretty easily compared to humans. There are many different species of Sharkfolk such as Great white, Tiger, Shortfin Mako, Bull, etc:

Background=Naomi is an active individual that loves swimming, she's a pretty strong individual. She's a pretty casual and friendly person, she hardly ever takes anything too seriously. She speaks informally and uses slang. She's a friendly but she isn't opposed to fighting, she's even a little sadistic when it comes to fighting. Anchovies are her favorite and she loves that stuff on her pizza, she loves anchovies so much that she pretty much puts it on everything. Her sense of fashion is all over the place as she'll usually wear whatever is nearby, sometimes she'll wear a goth/metal outfit but it's not what she wears most days. You'll often see Naomi in bikinis or one piece bathing suits since she loves swimming so much. Naomi is an affectionate person and doesn't hesitate to hug her buddies, all her closet friends are female Sharkfolk, her best friends are Mora and Layla.

Sharkweek=in this world, Sharkweek is a week long celebration of Sharkfolk culture. In ages past, Sharkfolk were seen as vicious creatures that eat humans but times have changed since then and Sharkfolk live amongst people. Sharkweek has become a festival of sorts that represents goodwill between species:
