Backstory: Naomi was born in Osaka, Japan. She lived there for a short period of time, only until her father got a pretty good work offer in the United States. So, Naomi and her family moved to Seattle. There, at the kindergarten, she always appreciated how the teachers treated her and the rest, so she decided she'd be a kindergarten teacher when she grew up.
