Appearance: Despite her age, Nanashi appears to be no older than her late twenties. She has two blue fox ears and a blue fox tail in her human form and wears a kimono that hangs off of her shoulders. When she is in her fox demon form, she is blue fox with green eyes and nine tails.

Backstory: Nanashi is and always has been a fox spirit. Her natural form is that of a blue fox but she can shapeshift into a beautiful young woman at will. She’s used both forms throughout the last two thousand years to trick and sometimes befriend humans. Once, during the age of Samurai, Nanashi took a human lover- the Shogun. She had trusted him and given him her heart, only to be betrayed by him. After that, she took to staying close to her shrine in the mountains, only occasionally interacting with the locals or travelers that visited her shrine. She acts as a guide for children and elderly lost in the forest.
