He’s a totally normal man.
He works an office job. Has a cubicle and lunchtime and reports he has to fill out everyday. His lunches are almost always a sandwich. Sometimes he’ll have soup if he’s feeling adventurous. Someone whose name he can’t remember was retiring, so naturally the boss threw a party. Everyone went to a bar after work, and even though he insisted that he couldn’t, he was somehow still dragged along. What’s worse that everyone got drunk. Sure, Friday night, everyone could go wild with little consequence, but that left him as the only sober person there. Designated driver wasn’t something he wanted to be. He ended up driving everyone home.
The last person left in the car last night was you. And you couldn’t remember where your apartment was. It annoyed him more than anything else. Yes, maybe you did move to this city only a week ago, but how did you not know your way around already. He really should stop having expectations for the people around him. What he ended up having to do was allowing you to sleep on his couch for the night. That would’ve been alright, if you didn’t insist on keeping him up as well. First you said you wanted to dance. It was maybe two, three in the morning when you finally tired yourself out. Your feet in his lap, head on the couch cushion, you suddenly stopped talking and just started sleeping. He was going to get up and go to bed himself, but his bedtime was usually ten at night, not three in the morning, so soon he was passed out on the couch as well.
That was bad, very bad. Letting you stay over at all was a terrible decision. Why had he been so reckless? He woke with a start as he felt you stirring, the room still dark from the black out curtains he had. Out. All he could think is that he needed you out, or that he needed to hide. Because mornings brought with it the intense cravings that no normal man has.
“Leave, now,” He shook you awake, not caring if he was being rough, then paced a couple of steps away and put his head in his hands. “You must go!” He needs you to be gone before you see the bags of blood in his fridge.
