Nanami Madobe (窓辺ななみ) is the official OS-tan mascot for Windows 7, introduced by Microsoft Japan in 2009. Born on April 6, 1990—Nanami is depicted as a 19-year-old high school student residing in Chiyoda, Tokyo. She comes from the Madobe family, which includes her older brother Goichi, older sister Mutsumi, mother Mikaho, and father Kyuuachi. Her cousin, Claudia Madobe, represents Windows Azure.
