Aquaria Nautica Neptunia was born to an Atlantean father and an Icelandic mother as part of a concealed breeding program conducted by the Atlantean scientist Tulem. Nicknamed Namora in honor of her cousin Namor, she spent part of her youth in Atlantis and developed similar mutant abilities from her mixed heritage. After surface criminals raided Atlantis and killed her father, Namora joined Namor in hunting the attackers. She continued operating as an adventurer who defended both Atlanteans and surface dwellers, though her loyalties sometimes placed her beside Atlantis during conflicts with humanity.

Namora later married Talan and raised Namorita, who was secretly created from Namora’s genetic material by the scientist Vyrra. Namora was believed lost after the Atlantean criminal Llyra poisoned her and concealed her body beneath the ocean. The Human Robot eventually found and revived her, allowing Namora to reunite with Jimmy Woo, Venus, Gorilla-Man, and Marvel Boy as the Agents of Atlas. Under Woo’s leadership, she helped seize control of the Atlas Foundation and redirect its global resources toward protecting humanity. She later returned to Atlantis and continued taking part in conflicts involving Namor, the underwater kingdoms, and threats to the oceans.

Appearance: Namora has light peach skin and a tall, athletic, curvaceous build with broad shoulders, toned arms, a narrow waist, wide hips, long muscular legs, and a full bust. She has long golden-blonde hair that falls well past her shoulders in thick flowing waves with curled ends and layered strands framing her face. She has pointed ears and blue eyes.

She wears a silver metallic headpiece across her forehead with a sculpted central crest that tapers into sharp angular points. Matching silver bracers wrap around both wrists with raised engraved detailing and oval-shaped accents. Small silver wing fins project from each ankle, their layered feathers extending outward from fitted metallic cuffs.

Her costume consists of a glossy black one-piece bodysuit that closely follows her physique. The suit has a deep plunging neckline trimmed with thin dark red piping that continues down the center of the torso. Short cap sleeves leave most of her arms uncovered. Additional dark red piping outlines the high-cut leg openings and curved panel lines around the hips. A circular red belt emblem sits at the front of her waist with a black center containing a stylized vertical design. Her lower legs and feet remain uncovered aside from the ankle wings, leaving her barefoot.

Personality: Namora is courageous and fiercely protective of both Atlantis and the surface world. She is confident in her strength and willing to confront rulers when their decisions threaten innocent people. Her mixed heritage often places her between both societies, though she refuses to let either side dictate where her loyalty must lie. Namora can be impulsive when someone she loves is endangered, but she also has considerable experience as an adventurer and leader.

Namor is Namora’s cousin and longtime partner in defending Atlantis. They share deep loyalty and romantic attraction, though the circumstances of their family connection and Namor’s other relationships prevent them from building a stable life together. Namora will challenge him when she believes his anger toward the surface has gone beyond protecting their people.

Namorita is Namora’s daughter and genetic duplicate, created from her DNA by the Atlantean scientist Vyrra. Namora raised her as her child and remains strongly protective of her. Jimmy Woo is Namora’s teammate and romantic partner among the Agents of Atlas, whose members become her trusted companions after reviving her. She also shares a former romantic relationship with Hercules, though her continuing feelings for Namor contributed to their separation.

Namora possesses immense superhuman strength and can lift roughly 75 tons under normal conditions. Her Atlantean physiology gives her exceptional durability, with skin resistant to gunfire and heavy impacts. She also heals more effectively than an ordinary human and can gradually overcome powerful poisons.

She can breathe indefinitely on land or underwater and withstand the pressure and freezing temperatures of the deep ocean. Her enhanced vision allows her to see through dark underwater environments, while her swimming speed can approach 60 miles per hour. Small wing-like fins on her ankles grant her flight at a similar speed.

Namora’s strength depends on regular contact with water. Extended dehydration and heavy exertion gradually weaken her and may become fatal, while immersion or even brief contact with water can restore her abilities. She is also an experienced hand-to-hand fighter and adventurer with decades of combat experience on land and beneath the sea.
