Nami

Nami transformed a clearing near the beach into a Valentine's Day market. Stalls sell personalized sea charts (drawn by her), "authentic" jewelry (questionable origin), and "rare imported" chocolate (bought in bulk on the next island, resold for ten times the price). She hired Usopp as a salesman, Sanji for cocktails, Zoro for security, and Luffy for tasting (which means he eats everything in sight, adding a debt he'll pay in fish).

Her official booth: a folding table covered in sparkling treasures, with a handwritten sign: "LOVE HAS A PRICE – AND HERE, IT'S AFFORDABLE."

Dialogue 1 — Nami and Luffy (the captain and his debt)

Luffy: (bursts in running, hands full of chocolate) "Nami! Nami! The chocolate is super good!"

Nami: (eyes widening) "Luffy... That's the merchandise!"

Luffy: "Well yeah, I'm tasting it!"

Nami: (closes her eyes, breathes) "How many did you eat?"

Luffy: (proudly) "All the ones on the left table!"

Nami: (blank) "... The ones at 5000 beli each?"

Luffy: "They were good!"

Nami: (grabs Luffy by the ear) "You're going to pay me back. In fish. Everything you catch for a month is mine."

Luffy: "Can we eat it?"

Nami: (sighs) "... Yes, Luffy. We can eat it."

Luffy: "VICTORY!"

(He runs off. Nami watches him, smiling despite herself.)

Nami: "... Idiot."

Dialogue 2 — Nami and Zoro (the silent guardian)

Nami: (counting her till) "Zoro. Did you see any thieves?"

Zoro: (leaning against a tree) "No."

Nami: "Good."

Zoro: "Except Luffy."

Nami: (sighs) "Luffy doesn't count."

Zoro: (almost a smile) "He took three bars."

Nami: "I know. He's going to fish to pay me back."

Zoro: "You've always been good at that."

Nami: "At what?"

Zoro: "Turning problems into opportunities."

(Nami looks at him, surprised.)

Nami: "... Thanks, Zoro."

Zoro: (looks away) "You're welcome."

(She hands him a sake bottle.)

Nami: "Here. A gift."

Zoro: (takes the bottle) "... Thanks."

Dialogue 3 — Nami and Sanji (the knight in shining apron)

Sanji: (spinning around) "Nami-san! My cocktails are ready! May I offer you the first one?"

Nami: (without looking up) "Later, Sanji. I'm calculating."

Sanji: (heart eyes) "Nami-san calculating is so beautiful!"

Nami: "Sanji. How much are you selling the cocktails for?"

Sanji: "300 beli!"

Nami: (looks up) "300?! That's way too low!"

Sanji: "But it's for the customers—"

Nami: "Free ingredients, free labor, high demand. We go up to 800."

Sanji: "But—"

Nami: "800. And you add a sugar heart on the rim. People pay more for hearts."

Sanji: (admiring) "Nami-san is a genius!"

Nami: "I know. Now go prepare hearts."

Dialogue 4 — Nami and Usopp (the improvised salesman)

Usopp: (nervous) "Nami! People are asking if the jewelry is authentic!"

Nami: (without flinching) "Tell them yes."

Usopp: "But they're not—"

Nami: "Usopp. You're the greatest liar in the world. Use your talents."

Usopp: (understands) "... Ah."

(He turns to the customers, striking a dramatic pose.)

Usopp: "Ladies and gentlemen! These jewels come from distant islands, retrieved at the peril of our lives! This necklace? A mermaid's tear!"

(Customers are captivated. Sales take off.)

Nami: (quietly) "... Not bad."

Usopp: (proud) "I learn fast."

Nami: "Keep this up and I'll take you on as an apprentice."

Usopp: "... I don't know if that's a compliment or an insult."

Nami: "Both. Now sell."

Dialogue 5 — Nami and Kaya (gentleness rediscovered)

Kaya: (approaches timidly) "Nami... This is beautiful."

Nami: (smiles – a real smile) "Kaya. You came."

Kaya: "Usopp told me you were organizing something. I wanted to see."

Nami: "And?"

Kaya: "It's impressive. Really."

(Nami almost blushes.)

Nami: "... Thanks. It's just a market."

Kaya: "No. You brought everyone together. You created something."

Nami: (looks around) "... I mostly tried to stop Luffy from eating everything."

Kaya: (laughs) "He seems to be succeeding."

Nami: "He eats everything in sight."

Kaya: "But they're all happy. Thanks to you."

(Nami doesn't answer. Something loosens in her heart.)

Nami: "... In Cocoyashi, I never imagined this."

Kaya: (places her hand on Nami's) "You're free now."

Nami: "... Yes."

Kaya: "I'm proud of you."

Nami: (choked voice) "... Thanks, Kaya."

Dialogue 6 — Nami and Nojiko (the sisters)

Nojiko: (arrives, arms full of fruit) "Nami."

Nami: (freezes) "Nojiko... What are you doing here?"

Nojiko: "I heard you were throwing a party. I brought fruit from the village."

(She places the fruit on the stall.)

Nojiko: "A gift. Not to sell. To give."

Nami: (eyes shining) "But—"

Nojiko: "The villagers insisted. They say you've given enough. Now it's your turn to receive."

(Nami can't find words.)

Nojiko: (pulls her sister into a hug) "I'm proud of you."

Nami: (muffled) "... Stop, you'll make me cry."

Nojiko: "Cry. It's Valentine's Day. We're allowed."

(Nami cries a little. Just a little. No one sees – well, someone sees, but it's okay.)

Dialogue 7 — Nami and Belle-mère (the living memory)

(Night has fallen. The party is over. Nami is alone on the beach, facing the sea, a drawing in her hand – a map she made as a child, with Belle-mère.)

Nami: "Belle-mère..."

(The wind blows. Waves crash.)

"I have a crew now. A real one. Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji. They're all a bit crazy, but they're there."

(She looks at the drawing.)

"And I threw a party. A real one. With happy people. Laughter. Gifts."

(She hugs the drawing.)

"This is what you wanted, right? For me to be free? To live?"

(She smiles, eyes wet.)

"So here it is. I'm living. And I'm free. And I think of you every day."

(She stands.)

"Thank you, Belle-mère. For everything."

(She walks back. Behind her, the sea sings its eternal song.)

"... Happy Valentine's Day."
