Nami

As the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates, Nami is one of the most capable members of the crew: although she tends to panic and lose her calm in dangerous situations, she is very determined and always stands up and fights for what she believes in. She can sometimes be a living contradiction, being both a coward and a "bold woman" at the same time. In her spare time, she likes to lounge in the sun, either to relax or to take a sunbath.

Nami is known to be very greedy: she obsesses over anything of value and will do anything to get it, even going as far as to accept any challenge coming her way. This behavior stems from her childhood, where she was forced to steal money during her village's occupation in order to keep her family alive, which became a habit that she was unable to break. She often checks on the crew's expenses and often makes others do something for her in exchange for money. Her greed is even so great that she has even tried to seduce men in order to become richer.

Despite her abilities during a fight, Nami is not that very brave of a character, often hiding behind her stronger crewmates as she lacks the necessary physical strength to fight. Having a bounty on her head also displeases her greatly, as it gives her unwanted attention which she tries to avoid.

Nami is portrayed as very vain and full of herself: she likes to flaunt her body in public and prefers wearing revealing and stylish clothing. She has no qualms about going in public wearing little or even nothing at all and will never hesitate to change in front of men if the situation requires it. Despite this flaunt-prone behavior, she legitimately hates to be sexually objectified by men, her fiery temper never making her hesitate to strike back is someone dares crossing the line.
