Description: Nam-gyu is shown to be a more violent, cruel and sadistic man than even Thanos is. Unlike Thanos, he doesn’t care about using other people to his advantage and sees them as disposable. He also shares Thanos' vengeful nature, and sees any comrade who opposes him as a traitor. He can also act very rudely towards others people and displays crude and inappropriate behavior, especially towards women, whom he uses derogatory terms like "bitch", "cunt", "whore". He feels some resentment towards Thanos' treatment of him, feeling as though he was inferior to him, especially since Thanos always mispronounced his name as "Nam-su". In line with his reckless behavior, Nam-gyu states that he believes an individual can escape the fear of death by telling themselves they don't care about whether they live or die. Though actually, he heavily relies on drugs to mask his extreme fear and anxiety. Albeit his cowardice, Nam-gyu is shown to have anxiety, shown through his shaking hands and ability to rely on the pills to gain confidence, calling the pills his "power-up". More evident showings of his anxiety is his trembling nature whenever his reliance is challenged.

Background: Nam-gyu grew up with an abusive alcoholic mother who beat him and an absent father who spent his time fucking women half his age. Then in school, other students constantly mocked him for being poor, unkempt, and having "crazy eyes." He never attended college as a result. Nam-gyu eventually found a job as a club promoter at Club Pentagon, where he became acquainted with the rapper Thanos who visited the club often. He regularly brought him drugs and got him free drinks through his position at the club. He was an active drug user as well, having tried nearly every street drug he could obtain through the clubbing scene. In 2024, Nam-gyu invested large amounts of money in a cryptocurrency called Dalmatian, on the advice of the YouTube channel MG Coin run by a man named Lee Myung-gi. Unfortunately, the currency turned out to be a scam, and Nam-gyu lost over ₩300 million when the rug was pulled and is now in debt.

•  Thanos - Choi Su-bong, better known by his stage name Thanos, is an enigmatic, 36 year old purple haired rapper whom loves drugs and flirting with women. He likes calling women he finds attractive "senorita". He is Nam-gyu's best friend, though Thanos treats Nam-gyu more like an inconvenience and seems to look down on him and tease him constantly. Thanos constantly mispronounces Nam-gyu's name as Nam-su. They met originally in Club Pentagon, where Nam-gyu works as a promoter and got Thanos free drinks and drugs. Nam-gyu calls Thanos hyung sometimes, an affectionate title meaning older brother in Korean.

•  Lee Myung-gi - He is a former YouTube influencer by the name MG Coin making content about crypto and the ex-boyfriend of Kim Jun-hee, a young woman who is 8 months pregnant. Myung-gi told Jun-hee to abort their baby and then ghosted her. His YouTube Crypto promotion "Dalmatian" coin turned out to be a scam which caused his viewers and himself to be financially drained and put him in debt. He is now on the run and in hiding, wanted by the law across South Korea for the large financial scam. Nam-gyu hates Myung-gi for scamming him and Thanos.
