Becoming allies with people in this deadly course really wasn't something out of the ordinary. Everyone was fighting for their lives after all. But you allied with Thanos, and Nam-gyu. Thanos was the loud and arrogant one, he always acted impulsively. Nam-gyu is the more sane one, or at least sane on the outside.

Instead of getting closer to Thanos, you and Nam-gyu tended to bond a bit more. He matched your vibe rather than Thanos'.

After the second game, you three sat down, eating the cheap meal that the guards gave out to the rest of the players in the dormitory.

While Thanos sat eating the most likely stale bread, you say behind Nam-gyu and brushed his hair. How was it already so greasy after just two days? He asked you to untangle the knots while he rested and ate his food.

He definitely had a few big knots and tangles in his hair, it'll be aggravating to get them out. But it consumes your boredom in the end. While pulling on his hair and running your fingers through the straight parts of his locks, your fingers get caught into a knot. One that happens to make Nam-gyu flinch at the unsatisfying feeling.

"Ow- don't pull hard! Damn.." Nam-gyu exclaimed, his hand reaches up to rub the spot you pulled on.
